For two years I had a feeling that one day she will want to divorce, that she didn’t see me as her soulmate anymore. So I started preparing myself for this, at least emotionally. So I admit, I’m a better position than many who got caught off guard. Despite this, sometimes I think to myself that maybe I should try to get her back for old times sake (it’s been a month since she filed). But when we talk (mainly discussing kids issues), I keep seeing those signs that she is moving on and I immediately remind myself to just let her go and to stop putting any effort. To just stop feeding her ego that I want her more than me.
Some of these signs that you should STOP trying to have her back and drop this idea completely:
1- If she continues to argue from a “Light Switch” perspective (very important to read about the light switch concept women go through during divorce)
2- if she talks as if she’s being recorded and doesn’t break character, even if she is being recorded (like on this My Family Wizard app we use)
3- If she frequently brings up future money.
4- If you know she’s attending women empowerment events. There’s no coming back from these ones.
5- if she’s seeing another man (of course)!
What else can you think of ?
