Red pill promises men answers to things that don't make sense to them. Id say the biggest questions that men have in dating isn't "how can I get the best looking woman ever"

Its "why do i keep asking out women and they tell me I'm not their type, or they aren't in a place to date anyone right now, but then the next day I see them holding hands with a guy?"

"Why am I always told I'm a good guy and all these good things but then turned down?"

"Why can't I get matches on apps?'

"Why do my text exchanges go well until I ask her to go out and then I'm left on read with no response ever again?"

"Why do they complain about men treating them poorly but then turn me down when I ask them out? Why do they seem to be giving so many chances to toxic men but won't pick me?"

"Why is it that things were going well, she said she was happy, she seemed happy but then suddenly she doesn't want to go out anymore and we shouldn't see eachother?"

Redpill literature promises them answers to these questions. This is what makes it so seductive, it promises an understandable answer based on logic to these questions. They even make equations for it. Some posters will know exactly what I mean when I say "low LMS value=AFC" or "HVM=L+SS+M+C"

At the heart of it is a promise to not only solve the above questions but to give men clear directions on getting the love life that society, films, TV, music and literature have told them they should have and that it is easy to get. How many people have seen a TV show where a heavy set obviously out of shape man has a slender, conventionally attractive partner? Or stories about geeky guys meeting a conventionally attractive quirky girl falling in love with him? They see these things and see how easy it is for these men and think "why isn't it easy for me? Why can't this be me?" And then red pill tells them: "you can! You just have to do xyz" and then they're hooked.

This is a good question. My partner is convinced that the reason incels are incels is because they are in one way or another bad people, and having too high standards is one of those subcategories (and probably overlaps others). I do think that social media has taken status competition and dialed it up to 11, and what you get when you date a swimsuit model (or whatever equivalent) is status among both men and other women. Shame and pride are the moral emotions that evolved to give us feedback about how we are doing in our social group - for our evolutionary ancestors status meant access to resources of the sort that could dictate survival - and set off alarm bells when we are not doing well in this competition. The problem is not merely that status no longer dictates survival (though it certainly affects many outcomes we might find important) but that looks and sexual conquest should not be the main way that young men feel that they can achieve status and a sense of self-efficacy and mastery. Yet this is what our culture tells us is most important for young men (other than money) and so here we are, for this and other structural reasons, sliding back toward a more polygynous world, which is causing and will cause nothing but misery to everyone except the few men at the top.

I think if you pull back on the issue, almost all incels have an entitlement issue. If you sit and just read, you'll find opinions that always stem from rejection, too challenging scenarios, or just plain laziness.

They nearly universally have expectations that no normal person would have on women, on life, and on just about anything they want to rage on.

Most people learn how to accept challenges, work on things that they want badly, and have grace in rejection... Incels never learn. They don't enjoy challenge at all. I would guestimate that many have never played competitive or team sports as children and never experience those lessons that get taught on the playing field. It also speaks to their need to pontificate at length, as if it's sport itself, but never admit any defeat, concede no points... Completely ignoring that even discourse itself has rules and a playing field well honored in forums that rely on such things.

Sometimes its one or the other, sometimes its both. I personally feel that a lot these dudes could avoid problems like trying to get the hottest girl that they cant get by just dating within their league.

It's not so much about getting the women but it's more about why you get turned down or what the woman says.

When you keep getting turned down but also keep getting told that you are so nice or kind or husband material or all of that other stuff. It starts to make you feel insecure and kind of like a child.

Right now I've been watching tons of videos about whether or not a girl would like a nine to five dude or a drug dealer.

Of course that's not every girl. But in my experience there are a lot of girls out there who seem to rather cling to a guy who can make fast money or at least it's only in it for the fancy stuff he can provide.

Why would you spend so much of your life trying to turn yourself into a well-adjusted enable man who can make a lot of money without, without breaking the law, I want to keep getting turned down for the game who was literally breaking the law and just the example of everything that is to be with toxic masculinity

And it's so crazy because every single time you had a famous type of girl talk about toxic masculinity you could always find that her boyfriend was the pure example

Women are attracted to masculinity and do not want men who are feminine

My friend wanted help and fell down the rabbit hole and came out bitter, talking AT women and looking at them like someone you had to play mind games with. All because his ex said "sex with you feels like an obligation". It gave him a complex so he wanted to find out how to remain desirable and the internet told him he had to act a certain way (basically distant to keep the attraction) and then he didn't understand why that didn't work on me, it made him more bitter and angry and fragile so he lost me for good. And he probably still can't figure out why.

When I was bartending and hooked up with a chick in a nightclub bathroom only to see her the following week at a restaurant with a guy proposing to her, what is that?

Red pill is the understanding that your ability to date and sleep with women, based on things completely out of your locus of control, has already been determined.

That's why there are literally men in their 30's that are virgins and not creepy men either, just regular guys who weren't the top guys.
