On one hand I do agree that the red pill can bring a lot of uncomfortable experiences. Rage most often. And to some it's the "justified" part that seems to drive them. At least before there was some plausible deniability. In fact, most of what you face when you "take the pill" isn't gonna be all that pleasant, sort of by definition. The way I see it is it's like a fever before it breaks. Personally I'm still waiting to crest the hill, but to revert back seems somewhat disingenuous.

I guess it would be like finding out Earth isn't the center of the universe, but going back to it cause everyone's always in your face about it. At that point you're not doing anyone any favors, in the long term. Let's be honest, it's easier to just go with the flow, and it's the social repercussions that make the pill so hard to swallow. Still, is it not better to face the truth, otherwise people could get you to believe anything just so long as they make you miserable enough?

(Edit: I don't see myself as red pill (or blue, purple, black, etc), rather if an idea makes sense I'll incorporate it. Typically, I'll test it in some fashion. But if, in response, I get an emotional or ad hominem attack I just presume there's not much substance there, otherwise that's what I would get. Sort of like asking why 2 + 2 equals 4 and getting "who are you to question me?" Sort of a turn-off.)
