Male stripper here. Yes some women and parties do get as wild as the videos you see on here. But keep in mind there is huge selection bias too. Videos of parties or shows where the women behave aren’t as likely to get posted. A significant percentage of women would not go to a show with strippers in the first place, or only go with friends to have fun and wouldn’t do anything other than watch. Don’t over generalize to all women based on video porn.

I have never seen these shows you refer to, so I’ll take your word for it, but why are you assuming the kind of women who go to these shows are representative of most women? Are men who visit strippers representative of most men?

I personally would never willingly go to a strip show so I’m going to try to be as respectful as possible here.

Women who cheer and clap and scream while a male stripper is getting naked is doing so because that’s what the audience is supposed to do.

She may be impressed by how ripped he is, but it’s like seeing a body builder or a celebrity without his shirt on - it’s the nature of the show to admire what the man is showing off. It definitely doesn’t mean that’s her personal preference in a man, but a male stripper who was skinny and pale wouldn’t get any claps. In a similar way, a woman who was overweight and had small boobs and butt wouldn’t get much of a reaction in a strip club even if men in real life would want to date her. The nature of these places is to celebrate what is stereotypically seen as attractive. But very very few women in real life (I can actually only think of one woman I know) prefer their guy to be ripped. Coincidentally, she’s also the only woman I know in real life who prefers a large dick to an average sized one.

Does this mean she finds the stripper more attractive than you? Maybe in the same way a celebrity is more attractive, but almost certainly not in any sort of real way that matters.

I personally couldn’t think of anything worse than dating a guy who is ripped and hung. Those two things do not appeal to me at all. Men doing strip dances does not appeal to me either so if I had to attend one of those shows for the sake of a friend’s wedding or something, I would clap and cheer along but inside I’d be think ‘jesus christ this is awful’. And in real life I have never clapped or cheered when a man has undressed in front of me. But I have become instantly turned on and wanted to have sex with him. So I guess you should focus on which one of those reactions is better?

The last thing is: You have no idea how women feel about these things unless you ask them. Ask her whether she finds the strippers attractive. Ask her if she would date one. Ask her if she would sleep with one. Most likely she finds them very superficially attractive but wouldn’t sleep with or date. But that’s a guess on my part.

i don't even know what to say to this, because the idea of lusting over a male stripper is so... foreign to me, as is the idea of overtly expressing any sort of sexual desire in public or towards a stranger. but i suppose that's sort of my point-- there are plenty of women to whom male strippers are undesirable, or considerably less desirable than other men?

I'm a woman and have been to them with my girl friends. Yes, they can get crazy, but it's basically just a night of pure hind brain chaos for fun for most women. Most of us don't actually like huge dicks flung in our faces (especially if we can't have them).

Some do sleep with each other, but in that industry, it's seen as not part of the 'art,' for a lack of a better term. This has in no way prevented me from loving up on and having plenty of great sex with my Husband of 20 years and I've only had 1 polyamorous partner since.

Male strip shows are not sexy, they are funny and they are about embarrassing the Bachelorette infront of her friends. Male nudity is funny and it's not a turn on to women.

I’ve been to a male strip show when I was in college and it wasn’t all that great. First of all, (imo) beauty is much more subjective in women, especially when it comes to facial features. I didn’t think any of them were “hot”. My friend did but she’s also a train wreck lol.

Also, during the show, I found the women to almost be sexualized more than the men. The strippers would bring women up on stage and smack their asses/ect. I didn’t like it because I went to see men disrespected, not women lol.

As for the women actually being horny for these guys, I don’t think so. I think they just went to have a good time. Like how you laugh more when you go to a comedy club in person. Women are also more likely to show heightened emotion like cheering/ect.

But as for wanting your girl to think you’re hot, I get it. I don’t think you’ll ever get the “reaction” that those strippers get because you aren’t a stripper and that reaction doesn’t come quite naturally in the bedroom.

Also, each woman is different. If you want to marry a woman who will throw herself on you, go for one with a high sex drive and into that type of foreplay. (And treat her well)

Physical attraction is also different for women in that we (or I, I guess) can be very attracted to someone but still not want to have sex. You may be just looking for someone with a high libido.

I have never been to one, but I've seen videos. I never finished the Magic Mike movie - it did nothing for me, just looked funny. Those men aren't attractive for me, nor is their dancing. (For honesty's sake, I did see a video or too that made me go "oh, ok, THAT I'd watch" but they always kept even their pants on.)

But if I happened to be at one of those shows, would I go "woooo" and put dollar bills on their thongs and let them use me for a lap dance? Of course! Just cause that's the environment, it wouldn't really mean anything. It would be weird if I acted like it's a church mass.
