The problem with this book is that it relies on cold approaching as main "outer game" strategy

Manson is a former PUA formerly known as Entropy so that influences his perspective.

yet women say they hate cold approaching, particularly women who care about women's rights and issues

It depends on how you cold approach. Are you cold approaching strangers out in the street or going up to a woman during a social event? Are you making sexual comments and keeping on going even if she isn't interested?

I've read women saying, they are also tired of having convos initiated by random men regadless of the nature

People also get annoyed by being approached by salespeople and volunteers seeking donations to charitable causes. But some people will be fine with it and its not a crime to talk to a stranger even if some are annoyed sometimes.

Is cold approaching a valid strategy in dating?

I suggest a more diverse method. Do some online dating. Join social activities. Do some nightlife. Make friends and meet women through your social circle. Go to parties. If you do cold approach do it in contexts where its more accepted.

Do you think a guy should do that? Is cold approaching a valid strategy in dating? Is it right?

As a woman, I hate being randomly approached when I'm very clearly doing something or not in a social environment. If I'm at a bar, sitting in Starbucks, or hanging out in a social setting then I don't mind.

However it's annoying af when I'm walking down the street on my way to work, or I'm in the middle of a workout and a guy thinks it's a great opportunity to talk to me. I really dislike being interrupted, but the more annoying part is when my face and body language is very clear I'm not interested and her persists. Or if I say "I'm gonna get back to my workout nice to meet you", and he keeps trying to talk to me.

If you're going to approach women my advice is do it in a setting where approaching and meeting strangers is more acceptable and common. Or be very attentive to body language and cues that she's busy, not interested, is occupied etc. and then just leave her be.

I don't know why anyone would recommend this book. Manson has no qualifications in psychology, or family psychology in particular. He's a PUA, everyone keeps saying "former", but I don't see what makes him former. There are books written by actual psychologists on the matter of relationships.

The thing about women who hates cold approach,yeah they can hate it,but most of the time they hate being objectified(i dont know actually im not women,this is dr robert glover argument).And while you continue read models you gonna understand the Marks core point.

So if you read models its says ok sometimes some people dont like your cold approach but thats ok,you can find someone will like why not.This is Mark Mansons point.

And Robert Glover says,beside that,just learn to get and understand signals women gives then approach that women.

U can check david wygants stuff tho,he says basicly see the world like its your own game,have fun,invite people and have more fun who wanna play it too.

Models is great book,i hope it become helpful.

Don’t approach strangers and start conversations where you’re trying to date them or pick them up or whatever. It’s weird and creepy.

Even if it does “work” for some men, it will not work for you because you don’t have the social skills or prowess to pull it off.

Get to know people like normal humans do: by interacting with people you have some reason to talk to.

Books like these always miss one important and crucial element. To have any chance of this information working, a man needs to be good looking or above average.

A man who is below average or ugly may as well save his money.

Unfortunately the target readership is likely to fall in the second category, which is why these books fail to mention the importance of looks.
