At 25 no woman has ever found me the slightest attractive, I've never been on a date in my life and receive 0 matches when I try online dating unless I switch my preference to gay men.

When I was younger it was easy to not be sad about it, I told to myself "I may be single now but I'll find someone one day, I'm still young so don't worry about it, DetermineAssurance!" but now it's hard to not worry about it. Thinking about dating, seeing attractive men being in relationships or getting hit on by women causes me hopelessness and envy. I wake up every day wishing I were gay so that I could finally start dating and not deal with women's unrealistic attractiveness standards.

I know obsession is not healthy but gradually realising that I might never experience sex and romantic love causes me anxiety and constant negative rumination. It's like my brain is realizing that this is no longer a negative thought but a real possibility with real consequences on my life.

What can I do to stop putting value on how women see me and romantic love? I have not been desperate in the past as I've never gone on hitting on women just for the sake of it but now I do feel desperate and I don't know what to do. I don't even want a girlfriend immediately, I just want the chance to date, to at least play the game but I know I can't force attraction, for this reason I'd like to learn how to be happy alone.

TL;DR
