Dread (verb): anticipate with great fear

Game (noun): a form of play or sport

So therefore, "dread game" is using their target's/victim's emotions as a game or sport to create great fear.

It's usually done in combination with other emotionally abusive tactics to leverage their victim's emotions in their favour. This often causes mental breakdowns because in many cases the dread gamer lets the power corrupt them and they end up abusing that power over their victim to the point where it quite literally gives them mental breakdowns.

So they'll usually imply or say that you're not being a good enough partner for whatever reason and therefore dread is implemented to get that person to work harder to keep the relationship intact. This is often used in combination with brazenly and openly flirting with other women in front of the partner as well, futher causing emotional damage to their target because now they're not good enough and it's being shoved in their faces.

This will often trigger things like a amygdala hijack which further prevent their victim from thinking clearly while they're being manipulated. This often makes the issues worse because logic and rationale are thrown out of the window in favour of regaining control and "saving" the relationship to minimize the primal fear being used against them (can become a compulsion if used against them enough).

This also makes those around them think they're the crazy one while the manipulator sits on the sidelines making fun of them and/or using that "evidence" of their now irritational behaviour against them to paint them as crazy, psycho, "Borderline", unhinged, or a rainbow of other derogatory descriptions. In reality, they're being abused and disrespected, Stockholm Syndromed, trauma bonded, and so now they HAVE to save the relationship by any means necessary (leverages fear of loss).

Because RP men find it easier to create chaos in a relationship than create a sense of calm and support.

So basically, when they create drama in the relationship, the woman will end up having a trauma bond with him (if she's not emotionally healthy)

So he causes chaos or acts in a terrible way towards her, then she gets frustrated and tries to figure out why, he eventually 'makes up' with her and rewards her with sex and then she never fully resolves the problems in the relationship. It's fun and games for him, but it's mentally damaging for her.

That's a Red pill pill relationship in a nutshell.

Dread game works with codependent people. Dread game hinges on the person (due to codependency issues) becoming afraid of losing their significant other.

The thing about dread game is that it’s really only effective on any given woman a couple times, then it quickly loses effectiveness.

If some other dude has dread gamed her before it doesn’t work either.

If you’re actually looking for a lifelong relationship, dread game will kill it faster than anything. It might work if you’re dating a woman and you’re a couple months in. Once.

Second time you do it she’s probably going to just let you know that whoever the other “option” is can have you.

I think they talk about production of testosterone, which increases libido in both men and women. Not exactly detaching emotionally from women and create emotional distress as in creating drama. That actually decreases one’s sex desire and therefore decreases it. But I might be mistaken? They might have refered to this: Men produce more testosterone during sex, but apart from that he might have to be away from his woman to connect to the sources of testosterone production. Taking care of himself (fex. rest, diet, muscle work out/physical activity, socialising with male friends). Being away from eachother and taking care of yourself also creates some sexual tension
