Beyonce had a song that claimed independent women go 50/50 in relationships🙄; Destiny's Child - Independent Woman.
It's stupid how pop culture/society convinces women that LV partners should still receive the benefits of someone who actually respects you. And, that they push this narrative knowing damn well women have less earning power because our skill-set isn't valued like men's.

Yep, and 50/50 on assault, abuse, femicide, wage gaps, self-care. I'll give them their "50%" of that. On the other hand- their mental health resources, benefit of the doubt, opportunity, etc... I'd like 50% of that.
Until we are not always on the losing end of "50/50" I will not accept 50/50 from a man. And even then, a real man would be ecstatic to prove he can provide for a women he cares about.
