I know this probably has nothing to do with FDS but I feel like it does. In my country we have 3 months of maternity leave for women. We had this for a long time. Men used to have two weeks of leave. Then one month. And now three months. And I'm glad, don't get me wrong. It's good fathers have the same leave. This way they can get equally involved with the kid and take half the burden off.

What is annoying me is the fact that people are saying that men having less time it was discriminator for men. That they want equally and that's a law anti feminists used before. Like for them the fact women had more leave time used to be discriminatory.

I mean let's see: women go through pregnancy, which is hard and you get sick (morning sickness, back problems and other stuff) and it's something that lasts nine months, they have to give birth which again is difficult, tiring and can lead to a lot of complications, they go through depression, their body changes a lot which can affect mental health and after the baby is born they have to breastfeed.

What men have to do: fuck and wait until the baby is born.

Women deserve and NEED more time of maternity leave. They are the ones carrying the burden of pregnancy and giving birth. Don't try to make this about equality. It's not.

And keep this in mind when looking for a partner. I feel like at least during the first month the father should do like 65/100 work with the baby and in the house in general (if he has paternal leave). The mom should rest. I mean obviously she needs to spend time with the baby but she should also be the priority.

Giving birth is complicated, can lead to a lot of complications and need more rest. I'm glad that fathers are having more leave as I said. But that's because he will be able to take care of the baby AND the mother.

I feel like men are so disconnected from the hardship of having a baby. They think that if they change the diapers they are doing a lot. And that's not the case.

Don't let people fool you with the equality excuse. Having a baby is not equal. The women take all the burden of this and the bare minimum is for the father is to take stress of her once the baby is born.

What annoys me is seeing feminists talking about equality and completely ignoring what mothers go through.

BTW English isn't my first language so sorry for mistakes.
