I'm new to FDS but definitely need it.

How do I always find guys like that.

I met a cute guy on OLD and we've been talking a lot on most days for a while and had a lot of good conversations. I thought he's different than other guys. Of course. I wanted a fling or a short relationship or many long-term but I wanted monogamy. We talked a lot but only met up twice because of the distance. No sex. On the third date he told me he thinks he's in love with me. I said that's a little bit too soon and made awkward jokes because I was flattered but didn't know if he means it. He maybe thought I was laughing about him.

He called me today and said it maybe was a little bit too soon but nevermind he thinks he's in love with a stripper and call girl he met recently at an "sex industry event" and would like to pursue a relationship with her. I don't seem too be too much into him anyway. He said I'm a little bit too uptight for him too because I don't have as much sexual experience as her does.

I feel so stupid. How could I think he's different. It's silly but I also kind of feel bad because he's now dating a "hot stripper" and maybe I'm not too hot or something. How can I feel better about this and how can you meet better guys who're not in love with everyone or had sex with everyone? It's not easy for me when they act like they're so different in the beginning. I'm so naive and romantic and always fall for their act. It's funny too but I feel stupid and embarrassed.
