Okay so I think it's clear none of us really believe in the wall, of course not..
my vanity still led me to believe that OMG I just turned 25 years old I don't look like a twenty-two-year-old anymore OMG.
There is huge benefit to being mid twenties and later. and I'm still a young woman but I think women even as young as 25 or convinced that suddenly they are not good enough anymore. At least online, honestly I don't hear it in real life lol.
I always convinced myself that it was narcissistic to even look in the mirror before age 24.. news flash, it's not narcissistic to look in the mirror. it's narcissistic if you have narcissistic personality disorder and you go around manipulating and lying and abusing people.
I started looking in the mirror because I was listening to Louise Hays audiobooks which are so so so so helpful for self-esteem.
Not only am I seeing myself for what seems to be the first time, I'm noticing that my face is even more beautiful now that I am getting older. When I was young, my face was kind of like a blob. I didn't have baby face so to speak, but definitely my face was kind of like a blank slate. The other month, I realized when I took a selfie that my face seem different and I couldn't figure out why.. I realized it was the lines beneath my eyes that result from my cheeks pushing my skin up when I smile, as well as my smile lines . Again I never had a baby face, but now that I am 25 my facial fat has I guess thinned out a little. you can see my cheekbones clearly, I have excellent bone structure and many people have commented on it when before when I was in my early twenties, my face was just kind of a totally smooth blob, no cheekbones. This happened Kate beckinsale and Jennifer lopez too.they had total baby faces in their youth and they look even more beautiful now than ever.
So up until my 25th birthday I was worried about "getting older" but now honestly not to sound vain but I look in the mirror and I think I'm so gorgeous compared to my baby face insecure early twenties.
I do use the product frownies at night to prevent a furrow from forming, but still I never realized that my face would change in a positive way by allowing my cheek bones and bone structure to shine through.
So remember that... I have seen a lot of young twenties on this and I would also love to hear from any of the older women commenting about how their appearance has improved as they age. I have a 20 year old insecure friend and I can't see her cheekbones at all, and I never realized this portion... it was just my face until suddenly cheekbones happened LOL but they were always there they were just under my baby fat. And I never considered myself to have baby fat but all young people do.
PS- when you are over 30, all the guys who care about "young women" despite being over thirty themselves will steer clear of you because of your age. This is great news, because if you were in your twenties they would have tried to waste your time and so you don't even have to deal with them when you get older.
