Hamburger Helper is quick and idiot proof, sometimes we don't have the time to fix you the duck à l'orange that you so obviously deserve. Yeah, mastering HH doesn't make you a gourmet cook, but at least a lot of women are willing to learn, unlike the men who complain about having convenience foods put in front of them, when they could have easily gone online, found a recipe and cooked something for us.

You can make it with high quality ground beef (I use 4% fat) and put in extra cheese or sour cream, use half and half for part of the milk to make it taste better and have more butterfat and protein. It is quick and idiot proof and I can think of much worse things to cook.
