A guy I'm friendly with was saying that, while he has a 15yo stepdaughter who he's raised and loves as his own, he'd like to have a biological child because he's the last in his family. First, your family line isn't that precious. Second, that's a really irresponsible reason to CONCEIVE a baby that someone else is going to have to MAKE and BIRTH.

Then he says that he would only wants a son (like you have a choice?) because he's over his stepdaughters, Idk, girl-shit I guess. I just said "yeah, teenage boys are pretty terrible, tho."

So yeah, men are routinely disappointing.

Most male-female interaction is the male pushing his value systems down our throats, and harassing us until we either cave or get away. These aren't interactions. It's just brainwashing.

Yep, most conversations with men are pretty much either

a) they endlessly talk and gets offended when you interrupt because a woman is suppose to shut up, look pretty and listen, or

b) they pretend to listen and agree with your views while they talk to you, but all goes out the window after that. These people loveee to seek us out of "conversations" just to be entertained seeing us waste our time and breath.

Hilariously, the only time they will truly listen is when we give them absolute silence. Just do the stone-cold block and delete (or ghost and left IRL) and watch them failing over themselves trying to explain and desperately wants to "communicate".

I like to float a few “Why do men trash everything they touch?” “Men are so gd emotional.” etc into the conversation.

If it scares them off- good. If they argue the point- good, now I know. If they respond along the lines of “Yeah... 😳 You’re not wrong...” they may proceed to step 2.

The old saying goes, “You don’t need the boss, he needs you.” They made themselves women’s bosses for most of history, and many places still now, so.... Feminists need to start to get real and treat it like the labor movement women need it to be.

I’d like to add - do not get tricked by liberal or “feminist” men.

They have no skin in the game. All the “feminist” men I’ve dated talked over me, told me what feminism was, argued sex work was empowering, etc.

At worst, they used feminism as a cover to physically and emotionally abuse me.

And I’ve seen many women here talk about how they’ve had the same experience with men who parrot feminist talking points.

At best, you can look for a man who is chivalrous, open to listening to feminism, and supports you.

Run away from any jackass who identifies as a feminist. He directly benefits from the patriarchy and I guarantee he views women the same way as super conservative men do, he just hides it better.

Like all those Bernie Bros who couldn’t say one thing Hillary Clinton did in her career, but said she was “unlikeable” and part of the establishment. And decided not to vote and help Trump get elected.
