Yeah. Saw he was intelligent but failed his first uni and was trying for the second, should've been employed at that point, parents telling him he was a loser.

I applied for him to countless jobs (he was kinda depressed and didn't have hope), made his cv, he went to the interview and got it, since then he has only success at the job and it's all because I believed in him. So he slowly starting ignoring me blaming it on stress, decided to dump me saying he didn't love me anymore. Best thing to happen to me this year tbh, I glowed after the breakup.

This brings me some super deja vu. I dated an ex who I thought had a potential, it NEVER went anywhere.

My motto is now don't date potential, date established. In other words date someone who's already set with their life.
