FDS needs to be applying to grants

I found this group a few years after I was no-contact with a violent asshole, but I was in group therapy before going to a Battered Women’s shelter. It was sooooo helpful to hear the stories of other women. I thought I was overreacting, going nuts, or blowing things out of proportion. But when I was listening to these stories from other women (which were a lot like mine!) I just wanted to scream “run! Stay away from him!” That really helped me to set my boundaries and properly fuck-off from that toxic relationship.

I’m so happy that you are having a similar experience here. Women are trained from birth to accept so much bullshit. Being around women who are able to say that they were treated badly and aren’t not going to put up with it anymore is so liberating and enlightening!

I 100% agree with this. Honestly the advice, overall, are not some nonsense you find here and there on internet that just contribute to the "game" between men and women. It all boils down to what my therapist (who is a guy-bless him) recommend for my (love) life. It's about not selling youself short, something we've been conditioned to forget by the patriarchy and misoginy. Real men understand that and are actually not attracted to pickmes, 'cause they know you don't build a life with women of weak character.

Sometimes I wonder what my mental state would be if I didn’t find FDS. I would certainly be entertaining LVM right now and questioning what is wrong with ME.

Yes, grants and stuff for female creatives and content creators! A think a lot of grants for women's health and services would be reserved for non-profits but there are loads and loads of grant programs and funding opps for creatives and you don't have to be a non-profit usually.

Unfortunately I disagree. You should read about what happened to the Vancouver Rape Relief shelter. They used government grants to support their services for women. Then they had an incident where a woman with a penis raped another woman. So they set a no-penis policy, and lost all their funding. (Plus they were harassed and threatened for months.) I admire VRR for sticking with their principals. FDS should do the same, which will prevent them from getting funding.
