Went on a first date with a guy from OLD site. He organized a proper date, made sure I had a comfortable way to get there, has a successful education and career, was kind and insisted on paying for the date.

Here's the thing. On his profile he put 5'-8" but when I saw him, I was looking eye to eye with him (if even) and I'm 5'-4". Now the only height requirement I have of a man is that he is at least my height. Nothing wrong with other women having more strict height requirements but I personally have long term dated short guys around my height and consider dating short guys if they have other desirable qualities. If he had been honest on his profile, I would have probably still gone on a date with him.

Now I can never take this guy seriously as a romantic prospect because of his dishonesty. I am so disappointed. I deactivated my profile on that OLD site today. Men complaining about there not being an equal amount of women on there, here is one of the many reasons why. If men on there can't meet the bare minimum requirement of being truthfully, I'm out.
