I used to spend time crying, anxious, upset due to a NVM. Now I spend my time taking long luxurious baths, laughing with friends, and at ease. They really do suck your soul, but when you are in the black hole you don’t realize it.

This is the absolute truth. They suck out your energy and take it for themselves. Now that I've left I'm happier and more productive than I've ever been. I wouldn't go back if he was the last man on earth.

Even if it's hard at first, because you suffered psychological damage, it's still easier dealing with depression and anxiety (that was the combo I got for dealing with abuse) on your own (and with the occasional help of friends and family, but I mostly did the work on my own) than with a man who makes you even more miserable. Trust me girls, it's aaalways easier without a sabotaging partner or just plain deadweight of a man, even when you think you drifted away from friends or some of them turned on you (that also happened to me). Everything is better than staying.

In my last relationship it reached a point where I (an extremely homey person) didn't want to go back home after work because he was there. He always had a complain about something, or a thin veiled insult to spew at me.

Then I realised... Hold on... This is MY house! And I kicked him out. Now I love being in my house, and I am converting the room he used as office space (aka masturbation den) into a small gym 💪

Ain't no scrote invading my space ever again.

I always hear people say that women who never marry/stay single have the WORST fate ever, like it's the most horrible hell to "end up alone when you grow old"

Meanwhile, older women DO end up growing their last years all alone. Husbands usually die first (unhealthy habits, usually older than the wife) and leave their wives behind.

I mean yeah sure if I find an HVM who I want to marry, I'll do it, but otherwise why should I spend most of my life as a servant/sex buddy?

This is 100% true. When LVM suck the life out of you, you tell yourself you'll never do better and probably won't be happy again. But my life has never been better. I'm glad I went through all that I did, I would never know my value otherwise
