In nearly two years of being on this sub on several different accounts, I have made more personal progress than I previously had in 20-something years of life.

I owe so much of my self-growth to this sub and it has freed me time and time again from the mental cages of pick-me and libfem culture.

It has taught me to keep myself safe, prioritize myself and stay away from abusive men.

It has taught me to always focus on my own work, education and finances rather than giving into the “Disney dream” of finding love.

It has kept me grounded and happy.

This year I am my own Valentine. I will be taking myself out to a great meal, will buy myself a bouquet of roses to celebrate and may even go out shopping!
