Has anyone here ever had a successful relationship with a HVM they met on OLD?

The only HVM I know are married and have been for decades. I have yet to come across a single HVM either IRL or OLD. However, my target range is older 40-60. Perhaps you'll have better luck with younger men.

My friend met her HVM on Tinder. They’ve been together for two years, live together in a nice apartment and he treats her like a queen.

I haven’t had such good luck with OLD though, but I’ve met some good guys through Facebook groups for people who share my interests.

I met my boyfriend online. I went on probably twenty bad dates in the two years, off and on, I was trying before I found him.

OLD is my go to for dating for years. Given the amount of time I spent reading books, learning via the internet, engaging with people online and having a strong intuition backed by a currated affinity for human nature the OLD comes naturally.

I prefer oline dating to IRL because I don't like to receive male attention when I'm just going about my daily business. If I want to disconnect from a guy at any time it's a lot easier to do it too if he's not already in my life in some way.

I am currently talking to a HVM that I met on Tinder. We will be meeting soon and are long distance, separate countries. He has taken every opportunity to show he is a HVM despite the present limitations. When he visits he will make his intentions known to me by his actions. If after all that I still don't have reason to doubt I'll marry him.

Yes! I met my now husband using tinder. Before I met him I had two unsuccessful relationships (also from OLD) and went on so many bad first dates. But I stuck it out and finally met him. He’s the epitome of a high value man starting from our first date where he took me out to dinner!

To answer your question - no. If you really want to meet someone OLD you have to put the legwork in and I decided to dedicate some time to it last year. I only ever met people who I found something in common with after messaging them, I’d never message for over a week - if they hadn’t asked me out by that time I’d assume they weren’t interested. I never ghosted anyone (although have been ghosted), and I was never mean, I’d tell them straight up it wasn’t for me. I never kissed on first date, never slept with anyone (because it never progressed to a relationship). Last year I went on about 20 dates and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever go back to OLD again. Most of the guys only wanted sex even though my profile said I wasn’t into one night stands and I told them blatantly that I wasn’t having sex with them before we met, maybe they took that as a challenge? I even had one guy who said on the second date that he didn’t think I was interested because I didn’t kiss him at the end of the first date.... Out of the 20, I’d say 2 of them could’ve been in the HVM category but they weren’t looking for a relationship. I think it would be possible to meet someone OLD but it’s all about timing, effort and accepting you’ll have to sort through a lot of trash before you come across any treasure. Good luck!
