I was going to say: I think you need to work on not getting emotionally attached / not getting your hopes up about a man so soon.

Then I looked at your post history, and I think you have a lot more work to do. As in, avoid dating for the time being, distance yourself (if you can atm) from toxic family members, and work on loving yourself and building yourself up. These things need to come before you get involved with a man, or you won't be able to date with a clear, healthy mindset. r/FemaleLevelUpStrategy is a great resource.

Are you me? I legit stopped dating because I realized I needed to fix my mindset and to stop relying for men’s validation if I didn’t receive a text back after a date.

I would get all in my feels and spiral down a negative mindset that would mentally put me in a shitty mood and made me think I would never be good enough.

Just let it go. First of all, right now you are just dating. You should be talking to/dating multiple men (that you feel legitimately are worth your time and energy, of course). Don't romanticize any one guy. Don't start creating fantasies about the next date, or next month, or your wedding. Just take it one day at a time. Be kind and courteous, but have the attitude of "Impress me. What else ya got?"

You went on a date with a man. That's it. He treated you to a pleasant date, you enjoyed yourself, and now you are back to living your life. don't think or worry about him. If he wants to keep offering ways to add value to your life, then great. If not, then you move on.

There's no need to be angry with him. Anger means attachment; it means you care too much. It means you have allowed him to control your emotions. Who knows what is going on with him - he may have decided he wanted to go with someone (which he has a right to), he be legitimately busy or have something happen, or he may be a jerk or trying to play games. But the point is that you don't care, because you're not spending your time and energy thinking about him and worrying about him. You're living YOUR life.
