Personally, I wouldn’t date right now. There’s a lot of desperate males looking for attention, due to the lockdown and quarantines. They’re not looking for genuine relationships. They’re just trying to find anybody willing to fuck until the lockdowns are over.

But if you must date in this pandemic, virtual date and question the hell out of them. Maximum three dates. Feel them out. Ask them those hard questions you would ask on a normal date.

Talk about Covid-19. If they’re indifferent, think Covid-19 is fake, and hate the lockdowns, ghost. They’re not concern about your well being.

We don't.

We recognize that a global pandemic isn't the ideal circumstances for dating, and we'd rather invest the time and energy in bettering ourselves at this time instead of swiping, matching, and messaging. It's too risky to go out with men who may or not be taking COVID seriously.

There will be plenty of time to safely date when this is over.

I don't know how anyone "works around" a global pandemic or why you would want to even try.

You can always Zoom or FaceTime dinner together. That's still a little shady in my opinion, but it's a chance to talk to him, get a look at his living space, see an example of his eating habits, check out how well he presents himself, etc.

Personally, if your area is locked down and you're not supposed to go out at all, I'd put dating on hold. I don't advocate doing logistical gymnastics over a man you haven't even met.

Also, why is it up to you to come up with ideas? Make it his problem. If he can't come up with a decent solution either, then (1) probably not the time to date and (2) effort matches interest.

I've been on OLD apps on and off between relationships since 2015. I have to say, this is the LOWEST effort I've seen from guys on apps right now. I don't know if it's because more women are refusing to hook up because of COVID but they are not putting their best foot forward right now at all. At least where I am, it is so bad to me that I decided to just delete all of my apps. (Not to mention that they WILL lie to you that they're social distancing and you later find out they're having casual sex with multiple people!)

It all depends on where you live and how bad it is. I hear some countries are in complete lockdown where you can't leave your house only for essentials, or you can't engage with anyone outside of your household.

Where I live specificity it's really not that bad, I go to work, gym and restaurants are still open so it's business as usual with dating. We are just cautious and wear our masks.

So follow your health departments/ministry's recommendation. And if you aren't allowed to see other people right now... Then you'll just have to wait

I’m not dating or looking or anything. I was involved with someone who left the state at the start of covid for family reasons. We still talk but not sure what will happen. Doesn’t really matter
