How to bring up height without seeming shallow?

I would just ask in conversation how tall he is. If he throws a fit, bullet dodged. If you don't want to ask then you'll have to wait till you meet them. Most of these guys lie apparently anyway by at least 2 inches.

Ask. Short men KNOW that height is a preference. If I was a short man, I would willingly tell people my height as to not make it awkward at meeting. If they dont like it, cool, youre not for them. You can move on. And find someone else.

Thats the way it should be.

But as the person above mentioned, just ask. If they get mad, you have your answer. If they lie and show up short, you have your answer.

As a tall woman, I would never trick a man into a date with me. If it embarrasses him to be seen in public with me, or he cares that much what other people think, then hes not for me. And Id rather find that out sooner or later. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

You can offer your height either on your profile or in conversation. If in conversation he doesnt respond/changes the subject/whatever, then I straight up ask.

Even better if You can bring it up casually like if he asks about your family, say some other stuff and then say ‘im the shortest in my family, im only xx’, or something like that so it seems natural

most men will then offer their own heights. If they dont, 9/10 times when I ask they are shorter than me.

Yes. Ask. If they throw a fit even better, you don't waste your time with an immature person. If he tells you straight up, maybe he's confident or lying about it too. Guys literally put "looking for blue eyed 5'5 brunette, dimples and DD cups" it's ok for us to have certain standards too. Don't be shy about expressing your interests.

Anyone who can’t have a mature conversation about their freaking height is not someone you want to date. Just ask in the course of getting to know him and if he has an issue with it, trust me you don’t want to date him.

Ask „how tall are you?” And if he answers „179cm if that matters so much” tell him that it does indeed matter because you don’t want to look like mother and her 13yo

I usually just say my height and then ask theirs. Men usually don't make a big deal out of it if they're self confident

I use to do this; 'My gorgeous highest heels make me 5'8, I need to be able to wear them without looking down on you. Can you assure me that I can wear them comfortably next you?'.

I know that can sound a bit shallow, but it works. You can always make up a new one like this; 'I love to rollerblade/skate, are you tall enough to watch over my head when you push me a little bit? Otherwise I don't feel safe'.

It's cute, getting to the point and not overly pushy. I'm sure he'll get the message, but you need to know at some point. It's a good bulletpoint for a pre-date interview.

Only LVM consider it "shallow" to want to know the height of a man you are considering going on a date with. Ask and let the trash take itself out.
