YO, same thing happened when I started perusing investment advisor sites for my hefty tech RSU grant. I legit asked my husband if he was feeling OK as I started getting divorce ads e v e r y w h e r e for a couple weeks right after I started looking into this stuff. I don’t know if it’s the connection to estate planning generally or the “woman comes into money == time to escape her awful man” connection but hilarious either way.
