I was single for a while and this is when I happen to have 'reconnected' with this male friend. We stopped speaking after we got into different unis and couldn't find the time. We were teens back then. I do marathons and that's how I got in touch with him again. I wasn't aware about the FDS back then and it would've helped me dodge this bullet.

This guy asked if we could 'train' together. i.e. run together. Apparently, these were 'dates' that I wasn't made aware about. The last time we met he grabbed my face and kissed me and told me how we couldn't have a proper 'relationship' because his parents would never accept me because of the religion I follow but we could definitely be FWB exclusively until he got married. This caught me off guard, because I wasn't even remotely attracted to him. I told him so and he blew up at me telling me how I lead him on ( idk if anything I said or anyway that I acted made him think I liked him) but the only conversations we've ever had have been about the running schedule, what food is better and his dietary restrictions. I blocked him and forgot about it.

It's been more than two years now, and this guy lurks on my Instagram quite a lot, I have a public account so makes no point in me blocking anyone, I just restrict accounts that I don't want to see. I posted about the Reddit story posted here earlier today, telling young girls (my account has a huge number of teen girls following me) how it's not in their best interest to send spicy pictures to really old men and how things can go south fast. Guess who got triggered!

I'm currently dating this amazing guy who fits into almost every single 'high' standard that I've ever had and so many people told me I could never find. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel this idiot tried to shame me or maybe I'm just annoyed at the question of 'Oh is this the final one?' for a lovely picture of rooftop picnic my boyfriend had arranged for us. But LVM and NVM will try to keep on entering back into your life in any way they can.
