Life became much better once I got older and became more financially stable.

I'm now semi-retired (aka: working less than part time) and spend over $1k/month on horse entertainment alone (both polo lessons and jumping lessons at two different barns). Before the pandemic hit, I was zipping around the world traveling in business class.

A mediocre relationship could never make me as happy as financial stability. I am way happier being older and rich (hit 30 and became a millionaire at the same time) than being younger and poorer.
