My old fwb checks in on me every few months or longer. I got Happy Thanksgiving the other day and he keeps liking my fb posts. He hasn't liked my fb posts in five years. He must be hella thirsty.
Now my ex is BLOCKED. I don't need anymore of his I miss you texts followed by ghosting and then blocking and unblocking me on social media. 44 years old and doing that shit. I finally got wise and blocked everywhere.

I hear ya. The only reason the old fwb doesn't get blocked is because he was my first friend I made when I moved here, he's cool to just hang with, and he's super handy. Yeah, my ex is a basket case. It's much more peaceful without him popping in to check up on me.

my ex returned in the summer, and said all these things and then ghosted me. rinse and repeat when he realizes for the umpteenth time how good he had it with me (except now i'm older and will argue back instead of accepting his behavior--realistically, i shouldn't engage with him at all but i'm still learning)

Sorry, yes. I dated this guy a couple months ago. He would take forever to respond to my text, and the last time I saw him, we met at a used book store and he was quick to suggest I pay for my own drink (I was going to anyways, but lol thanks dude). After half an hour of hanging out he said he was tired. So a few days later I told him to take care. He obviously wasn’t interested and I wasn’t either anymore. He never replied to that text, so I knew I did the right thing but kicking this guy to the curb. And today he hits me up with this.
