The vetting check was “not done correctly” and an indecent exposure incident was “missed”. I don’t believe for one second this was some kind of accidental oversight. They probably, like millions of other ignorant people, think flashing is no big deal or just a bit of cheeky “boys will be boys” fun, and CHOSE to let it go.

Flashing, groping and peeping are serious criminal indicators that often escalate. Absolutely shameful that law enforcement, who should know this, just let it slide.

This case really breaks my heart. He was known to have indecently exposed himself twice prior to this. Apparently he was nicknamed 'the rapist' at work and they still missed this. Actually I saw a post from someone that said women police officers that brought up concerns were left in dangerous confrontations by their male colleagues. I'll post it if I find it. Just going to look.
