What is so weird is when people construct their entire identity around being kinky. Like going on social media to brag about how kinky they are and how lame vanilla sex is, and trying to convert people.

Being pushy and coercive is decidedly the MO of abusers, the BDSM community talks SO MUCH about respecting boundaries, and yet members of that community are always on reddit shaming people for liking vanilla sex and implying that they are wrong for not liking BDSM.

Like if they really wanted to distinguish themselves from abusers, wouldn't they make a big deal out of respecting a person's right to say "no, I'm not interested in that?"

It's really hard for me to believe they have the best interests of women at heart when there is so much reluctance to accept and respect women's stated boundaries when the preference is for nonviolent and compassionate sex.

I used to be really into kinky porn and stuff as a teen girl. Fantasized about it ALL the time. Yes this pisses me off!! I saw your reply on that relationship advice thread and just couldn’t believe the downvotes.
