I know at least three dogs that would always raise their hair and start growling and barking at men as soon as they saw or heard them with very rare exceptions, but never agitated by women. And one dog who was NEVER hostile to anyone, except this one guy, who turns out was drowning puppies in the past. They know, they definitely know.

Yep animals are very intuitive. I had a similar experience with my late cat Tyson and this rip off tradesmen I employed.

And they also look more threatening to a small animal. I actually read that out of all people, animals are most commonly fear-aggressive towards men.

I think this is why I get on so well with geese. They are horrible to most people but I'm so small that they don't seem threatened by me. I saw them hiss at the men I was with though.

Abused dogs are also nearly 100% suspicious or hostile towards men but not women and children. Animals know

I bet there is past trauma there. Either the kitty got abused or saw the owner got abused.
I knew a dog who hated men. She was a total sweetheart to all the girls who came to the house. The owner was a divorcee whose husband was abusive.

Yeah my Yorkie was abused by two boys. He happily walks past other women but sees a man and freaks the fuck out. He only likes my dad cause my dad treats him well but even when my dad gets my near me my Yorkie is like why the hell you going near my mommy lol 🥰 Poor sweet animals.

You did! My cats have never hurt me. Can't say the same about boyfriends. I remember my first cat Bagpuss would get in front of my stepfather when he went to beat me. Fortunately he never hurt my cat.

Aww what a lovely man! He is one in a million! Empathy for animals is a must.

Definitely some sort of past trauma for that cat from men and dogs.

Cats are girls, dogs are boys. Haha! Did anyone else have this irrational notion as a kid?
[–]Blackishcat27FDS STRATEGY COACH8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. Because cats are awesome. Dogs are alright too I guess most of the time.

Men and dogs?
Lol, just kidding, they're not the same 🤔

Right because dogs are fiercely loyal.

I’m Turkish and that reddit circlejerk about all Turks loving cats is bullshit. But other Turks downvote me to oblivion whenever I voice it... that poor kitty was probably abused by a man at some point. I hope someone takes good care of her.

I love it 😂. Turkish (and Russian) stray cats are the best lol. one of my other favorite Turkish cat moments is the one where a cat is sleeping loaf style IMMEDIATELY in front of an escalator that is exiting from a busy subway everyone who exits is like woah! and motions to the person behind them to watch out lol.

Can we please all get dogs and train them to attack lvm on sight? Additionally, we should have a corps of big dogs that sniff out and trail all lvm in the cities. Give the dogs pink doggy clothes so they're easy to spot from afar.
