Some people will only believe someone is abusive if they have seen them be physical to a woman for no apparent reason. Any reason is an excuse to these people. And only physically abusive people are actually abusive.
I've been point blank asked "Was he really abusive?" like I was making it up. Like he couldn't be abusive because he doesn't abuse everybody. Same guy then told me that my abuser couldn't have been abusive because he's a good guy. When I just looked at that idiot like the idiot he was, he kind of chuckle laughed and said "okay, he's not that good". The thing is that he knows what a shitty person he can be FIRST HAND, but refuses or refused to put two and two together. This makes them both NOT good men.

Yeah when I reported one of my rapists the cops told me he seemed like a nice guy after he had a chat with him. I had a text where the guy admitted raping me. I had also turned in all the abusive emails the rapist was sending me for 9 months. Cop's verdict: nice guy.

I know most people wouldn’t believe that my ex got abusive with me. It was a huge shock to me as well. One of the reasons I married him was because he was a gentle Buddhist, who would take spiders outside because he couldn’t stand killing them. I always go for less manly seeming men because of previous trauma.
Years of never touching me then I got pregnant and had a baby and I was pushed, had things thrown at me, had walls punched in, etc.
You never know who might hurt you even if they’d never hurt a bug.

Yes. This is one horrible fact of life. Once you're trapped in a marriage contract or with a baby, THEN many of these guys ramp up their abusiveness.

Abusers couldn't be abusers without being masters of manipulation. Most abusive men are amazing to all the women they know... Except their domestic partners. There are even therapists that say theyve talked to past therapists of men who were physically abusive only to hear the therapist saying that man was wonderful and the victim deserved it because she was too vindictive or even abusing him.

I feel like there are a lot of murder cases with female victims where the husband is either the primary suspect or even convicted and their families are still supportive, including their kids. It's enraging to imagine the hell these women lived in behind closed doors, only for people to protect their killers. It's like the ultimate fuck you to victims of male violence.

A lot of them do abuse everyone they come into contact with. These ones are imprisoned quickly. The ones that escape the trap of imprisonment are great at choosing their victims. Otherwise they would be identified and imprisoned quickly.
