Not curious about my life

doesn’t wanna feel pressured to be in a serious relationship.

We haven’t talked to each other on phone in the past 2 weeks

and we don’t actually communicate much on text either.

I don’t feel right to go out with him

Don't go. He doesn't want a serious relationship, just casual (sex). He hasn't texted or called in two weeks, and even when he does he does it rarely and isn't really interested in getting to know you.

Nobody is that busy they cannot send you a single text throughout the day. I am dating a few men now one who is a getting is B.A and is a cop who works shifts that change weekly this week it is 3p-12a. Guess who still manages to text me.
He is setting you up to be FWB. Casual means no string attached he already let you know this.
You don't even feel right going out with him is this really a question sis?

If you want an unfulfilling situation-ship, then by all means go ahead… But in all seriousness sis, you deserve a guy that puts way more effort. Seems like he’s only going to reach out when the women he’s actively pursuing are not giving him attention, or he’s just not ready for anything serious/committed right now (and that means you move on, you don’t wait til he’s ready).

I strongly urge you to read the handbook and other posts about the early stages of dating. He should be: * scrambling around for an opportunity to be in your presence * actively trying to get to know you to see if you guys are a true match * reaching out regularly (every few days AT LEAST) to show he’s been thinking about you, wants to check-in on your well-being and wants to create a habit of you being an integral part of his life. * be openly appreciative of any amount of time he gets to spend with you. This one is so important!!

If he’s not doing all of those things, it’s DEFINITELY time to move on and find someone who will appreciate you and your time.

Pass. He’s not interested in you as a person. A man saying he wants something casual means sex without obligations. Him contacting you out of the blue just as quarantine is lifted really underscores this.

If you have good vibes from the phone calls and want to give him a small chance to redeem himself though, say something like “i’m looking for something serious, and would like to get to know you better first.” if he’s actually interested in something serious eventually he’ll pursue. if he’s looking for an easy fuck he’ll move on. also see what he proposes for going out. is it a nice dinner? if it’s a walk or coffee, block delete
