Why do men hit on you the most when you’re busy, not glammed up, mentally preoccupied, anxious, taking care of work or business, etc.?

Why do they use “opportunities” when they’re role is to be professional? Why must the pharmacist administering the covid vaccine view that time as an opportunity? Why must the airport staff seeing you struggle with picking up your heavy luggage from the carousel decide that’s his opening? Why must the Lyft driver putting your packages in the trunk think he’s been provided a providential chance?

It’s almost as if they can never be professional, view any service they render as deserving of quid pro quo, and think vulnerability is compelling.

It’s annoying af.
