So over the last few weeks some random guy called me several times and left 2 voicemails. He only shared his first name, didn't say anything about who he was and why he was calling. And spoke in our native language. I'm bi-cultural. In his 2nd voicemail he left his email address. I Googled him and nothing. I sent him an email basically being like who tf are you and why are you calling me? But it was polite. He ignored my questions and said it was nice to finally hear from me and when was a good time to chat?

I replied that I'm going to give him one more chance to answer my questions and if he doesn't I wasn't going to respond anymore. So he replies with a question "what questions are you referring to?" I didn't respond.

He called me this past Saturday. I knew it was him bc it's a No Caller ID call. I was so frustrated that I answered because I wanted to know who tf he was. I was not a good mood and I was rude and interrogating him about how he knows me. He claimed some old female friend from school suggested that it might be a good idea for us to get to know each other. He knew the names of some family members and where I worked. He couldn't tell me this "friend's" last name. He was frustrated with me asking over and over who she was. He said something like 'wow you're so tough, if this is how you treat me now, what will you do to me when we're married?' WTF??? I made it clear I wasn't interested. He got off the phone when he realized I wasn't charmed by his bullshit. Wished me a good weekend. But of course I knew this wasn't over. *sigh*

Now I see that he's emailed me, telling me that I was rude but that maybe we could do lunch or dinner when he's at my [Employer]HQ. Then he said it was interesting to meet someone of our ethnicity who graduated with high honors from the 57th liberal arts college!!! And under his full name he put his Ph.D title and the logo of an Ivy League school. Is that shade or what????

Ladies, what part of the game is this?? I asked my father whether he knew who this guy was and he claimed ignorance. My parents/relatives have tried to set me up before (don't even get me started!) but the guys were never this persistent. So much rudeness and disrespect and caginess about who he is. I still have no clue who he is. Nothing on Google.
