I actually had one guy tell me that he showered before our date when he would normally not do so because "I made him want to be a better person." This man was 30 with a fully realized engineering job and his mom had to call him to remind him to shower. No thanks 😂

I’ve done laundry for many different people of all ages over the coarse of my life, so I’ve seen plenty of dirty underwear and boxers.

I have never, NEVER seen poop streaks in an adult female’s dirty underwear. I have only seen this disgusting phenomenon with men and boys.

So yeah, men have a basic hygiene problem.

Dated a guy who started to let his hygiene slip and used the excuse "I didn't want to take away from us time". Nah dude your stench is going to take "us" time away.

Basic hygiene is easy enough and I always let guys know a good scent is important to me.

I’ll never forget the day I taught my then 26year old boyfriend that you need to wash your ears with soap in the shower. He never washed them even once! Makes me gag thinking about it.

Man, it's like when I had to teach ex how to not use too much toilet paper to wipe his ass (because he'd complain about the "soft and strong tp" he always liked to get, clogging up the toilet)...

You know what? He'd always look fucking stupid when I'd ask him what his preference was for things. Like the tp... He'd always have this stupid, blank high af look on his face and he'd nod and smile slowly and just... Uugghhh. Looking back, super unattractive...

What I also despise is how when lack of hygiene is pointed out, some men will go through extreme mental gymnastics to defend it like... soap is bad for you!!! no one taught me how to properly wash myself!! Showering once a week is good enough cuz I can't smell myself etc like wtf... some men really don't wanna admit their faults

A few years ago I was seeing a dude & he showed up to a date with same clothes from the day before on. When asked why he did this he said he felt like being dirty. His hair and skin looked so oily that day. Another guy I dated would refuse to bathe after we jogged the trail because he “felt clean,” lmao. As if his balls and ass cheeks didn’t get sweaty. I was like “oh okay so you don’t want to have sex with me after this, cool!” Even if he did bathe he would refuse to use soap. This man is almost 30. Some of these guys now have caught on because they constantly talk about how clean they like themselves or their house to be. It’s like okay, I get it, you wash your ass like a grown adult should. I can’t believe I used to supervise hiking guy’s shower time when he was at my house because I didn’t trust his washing technique. So happy I moved past this pickme behavior.
