My personal experience has been varied. I wasn’t sexually attracted anymore as there were deeper emotional problems in our relationship that I was not ready to admit to yet, and this was subconsciously affecting my desire with him. My libido was fine away from him. It was my therapist who helped me discover this and said it’s very common for emotional neglect to translate to lack of sexual fulfilment.
I would suggest to women, try to objectively separate your libido from your partner, and rule out any medical issues, then you can really assess whether it’s personal, your relationship or something else. And please always remember low libido is not a reflection on your worth and will not last forever.

Oh this was decades ago. I stopped talking to him when I was 18 but he contacted me on social media just a few months ago. I put him on blast by posting his picture and captioned it with a huge sticker saying “rapist”. Blocked him later on. Never saw him in person or even bothered to have a conversation with him since I was 18

Yep. You understand. It was also evidence that he’s still a rapist because he argued (we’re now in our 30s) that I did give him consent and that the pRoOf lies in the “sex tape” (I find the term “sex tape” implies that the people who made one wanted it for other people’s consumption) we did. Consent isn’t a one time thing and lots of husbands rape their wives and the mother of their children 🙃

To his credit, this specific ex was a decent boyfriend (I have had my share of shit ones, though), and I'm confident he'd be a great partner to the right woman. I was still learning a lot about relationships at the time, and I didn't understand I didn't need a big reason to leave. We only dated 8-10 months, and I learned how to identify compatibility a lot quicker after that.

Uhg. When I was married I blamed it on everything else. Birth control. The fact I had moved to his country and was depressed there. In reality it was because when I met him he was on a pedestal to 20yo me. And during our marriage I levelled up so much higher and became in myself everything I admired that I thought he was. I fell out of love with him and no longer saw a future as I felt I was a HVW with a LVM (and when we met he was HV who turned into LV by comparison to my level up).
I felt guilty for years for leaving and it wasn’t until this group that helped me release that guilt. Not even therapy helped me as much as FDS. Love you ladies.
