"grown ass man"... his bangmommy packs him fruit snacks in his lunch box every day
[–]darkempress2003FDS Newbie 108 points109 points110 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I used to do the whole "pack a lunch" thing, back in the day. Hell if he came home for lunch I'd even make a hot meal right then and there. He always said "thank you" and that was it. After a little while I said that some reciprocation was needed here, why don't you make dinner once or twice a week or when you're at the shop, pick me up something you know I'd like, just so I know you care. I can count on one hand how often that's happened this year. In seven years on both hands and part of a foot. Hell he couldn't even compliment me unasked. He attributed everything to insecurity and anxiety and never wanted to go to couples counselling. I tried everything I could think of, but eventually I stopped caring about working it out. And now that we're divorcing he's whinging about being in "another failed marriage" and I'm like, well whose fault is that, buddy?

Idiotic scrotes can’t seem to understand that the common factor in all of their fAiLeD mArRiAgEs is... themselves. You’re doing the right thing, you deserve to have a partner who is capable of reciprocating the care and generosity you show

I once had a boyfriend who told me he refused to compliment me because I was becoming confident and was afraid I would leave him 😐

They normally at least try to hide it holy shit dude. Thank god he’s an ex, right?

replace "man" with "child" and you still have a valid tweet
[–]BiscuitWoofFDS Newbie 53 points54 points55 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is why pickmes make all women look bad. You can tell by her tone of the tweet that she secretly resents doing this for her ‘grown ass man’ but she has to pretend to be ‘chill’ and ‘cool’. It’s so embarrassing seeing women bend over forwards, backwards and sideways for men who use them. His first reaction was to call her upset asking where his fruit snacks was. That shows that he’s come to expect a certain level from his bangmummy and you best believe these scrotes don’t appreciate it.

The cool girl monologue from Gone Girl started playing in my head when I read this, spot on!

Ew ew EWW 🤮
This is some Oedipus complex shit. Imagine treating someone you’re sexually attracted to like a mom/ kid.
Grown men should pack their own lunches smh 🤦🏻♀️

I wonder if she's dating my ex husband.
I used to get up and cook him breakfast every morning, pack his lunch, and make dinner every night. And he would actually bitch like this. I'm so glad to be rid of him.

WTF???? Jesus woman, please stop doing stuff like this.
Oh he’s being treated like a preschooler cause he acts like one?
🤦♀️

I really don’t understand all of this. Both my parents cook and take turns making meals. They don’t even have to sit down in advance with each other and plan. It’s understood that if my father or mother is in the middle of making food, they either help with making a salad or a side or they simply back off. They’re not foodies either so it’s not like you need to have a passion for cooking to just get to it.
This is fucking ridiculous. The only time I would cook for a man is if he’s sick. The only “compromise” is if the guy already makes his own food on a regular basis and is making half the meal. I am not going to slave away in the kitchen for a man while he gets to sit on his ass.

So embarrassing. She’s going to wonder why he cheats on her when she was the perfect mommy to him.

I'm somewhat surprised the manchild eats fruit.

Fruit snacks. Aka the sweeter, high fructose corn syrup version of fruit
[–]RabidWenchFDS Disciple 26 points27 points28 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Hahahhahah no, fruit snacks are gummy candy with like 0.5% fruit juice.

I wish she recorded that phone call. "Bitch better have my gummies!" 🤣🤣🤣

The Mexican flag on her name tells me everything I need to know. It’s ingrained in our culture to put up with this kinda bullshit, but I’m glad the feminist movement has been calling it out. 🤦🏻♀️

With some kind of men you have to be careful. They see nice little signs of adoration once and IMMEDIATELY expect you to do them every day...

Even as a kid, if I mom forgot my favorite thing for school lunch, I a 10 year old never ever got mad.

My coworker used to wake up before sunrise to cook her husband breakfast and "see him off". He treated her like an old shoe.

Might as well pack some diapers and tissues in case he makes a boo-boo at work.

she's Italian. Italian men want a mama not a wife.
[–]localgirlcultFDS Apprentice 24 points25 points26 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
No she's not. Victoria Rivera is not an Italian name and that's a Mexican flag.
[–]NovemberinthechairFDS Disciple 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, that's a Mexican flag.
[–]shallowgirl89FDS Newbie 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
My bad. It looks like Italian flag, same colors. And same men it seems.

In Mexico, there is extremely toxic masculinity called “machismo.” Men are extremely prideful to the point of violence. Women are expected to take care of men to an extreme and never say no. :/
