This is why I block on everything. Leaving no chances. I have to. I’m a sucker for love and an empath. I’d rather hurt like hell for a while than deal with trying to ignore the low effort attempts. They do that to only try to reel you back into sexual favors. I have had a dude block me multiple times and leave me in distress. He pulled that same shit with me. I ended up not giving him what he wants so he occasionally grovels. These are the same men that claim women are TOO emotional and dependent... yet their dependent on finding someone to manipulate and use until they find the closest dumpster to throw us in.

Ugh - this is a generic message they push out to a whole list of contacts in order to check a woman's "temperature". Some ignore, some respond positively, some tell him to STFU. But they don't care - cos it's a numbers game to them.

Never respond to a generic message EVER. Low effort.

When I was in my early 20’s, I had a guy string me along for a few months. Sorted it all out, he moved, it was fine.

Then he sent me a message on FB. I responded. He didn’t. A few months passed. He sent another message. I responded. He didn’t.

Never again. Should have blocked him at the first “I don’t think we’d work as a couple.”

You could not have posted this at a better time for me. Thank you. I got a “Happy Thxgiving, hope all is well” text from my ex who I’m still in love with. I responded and he suggested I come see his new place and hang out. I REALLY want to. But what was bugging me was that he didn’t actually ask me how I was. And truthfully, I found out my mom has cancer the day before that text. So I’m not great right now. Would be nice to have him to talk to about it since he’s a doctor, but he didn’t bother to ask.
