I've seen this a lot on FDS, and it needs a reality check. Rich is not a HV trait; showering a woman in cash and gifts is not HV actions. There can be many reasons a man buys you things, and most of those reasons are pure undiluted LV; control, transactional giving, guilt, performative giving. It's not the gift itself that's high value, it's why he gives the gift.

It's the same with wealth. Having money doesn't mean you're high value, but how you got the money might. Passion, intelligence, self-discipline, diligence and good money management are all positive, HV traits that often lead to wealth.

Wanting to marry rich is a preference, not a HV move. It's 100% fine to have this preference, but let's stop sending the message to women that money = HV man. It's simply not true, and we miss out on discussing the real HV attitudes that lead to a better life and relationship. And yes, sometimes, money.
