I am absolutely sickened by the articles being released regarding the Johnny Depp defamation trial. Modern feminism has proven again that there is no place in their world for truth and logic, evidence is only admissible if it falls within the scope of the ideology. Just a hint of aggression from the man is enough evidence for them to hang him and leave a grumpy on his grave, since they know that the axioms of feminism (based around the narrative of gendered oppression) are not reflective of reality and won't stand up to scrutiny.

A funny irony of this belief that women are incapable of violence is that it's misogynistic. This belief implies that women are apparently too weak and codependent to be assertive. But honestly I'm starting to believe that these extreme movements are societal trauma responses, where triggers are incorrectly viewed as the truth. Uncomfortable realities and truths are viewed as oppression and disagreement is warped to mean hatred. A delusional comfort is created, uncomfortable emotions and vitriol are no longer something to be ashamed of, they are justified in this fight against "oppression", a surface level understanding is all that is needed.

The similarities between modern oppression / identity politics and to narcissistic defense mechanisms are eerily and uncomfortably similar. Also it's a convenient distraction from other societal issues
