Beyond ridiculous to think men's feelings are taken seriously. Men being domestically abused, either people laugh, or say he deserved it. Though, it's gotten slightly better recently. Men being emotional is also still laughed at or they're told "man up", or certain women lose respect for that man. Men's issues are still thought of as something that doesn't really exist, or doesn't matter as much compared to women's issues.

Street violence is also a gender paradox. Men are less afraid, but greater victims. Women are more afraid, but are less likely to be victims. And online harassment, too. People think women receive more online harassment, when men get it slightly more.

We also can't forget Gillette's ad in 2019.

The song is 12 years old. I think today she would have received some criticism for gender essentialism. Though I'm not really sure.

As to movies, I think Garland's "Men" is the greatest misandric crap ever made.

It's pretty much everywhere, to be honest. Take any random TV show and you'll likely find at least one woman who makes make some disdainful assertion about men, and no one will ever challenge it. She'll usually be met with either tacit or explicit agreement. It is as if writers have had some kind of obligation to normalise misandry for the past few decades, at least.

I think a good example is in Castle (2009); 'Nanny McDead' from the first season. It has stuck in my mind since I first saw it, and I've only seen it once, because of how patently contrived and absurd it is towards the end. In case anyone cares, the following contains spoilers:

Basically, a woman kills another woman out of jealousy (they're both sleeping with the same man, who is married to another woman). She is employed as the nanny to his children, so it's not like he even mislead her about his marital status. The killer is portrayed as a sympathetic character (she's even pregnant for bonus sympathy points), and really it's the evil man who is in the wrong:

Chloe [murderer] recounts Ian's [cheater] lies, all the while continuing her self-mutilation, and Beckett [detective, female main character] appears to have considerable sympathy for her plight. [...]

When Castle [writer, male main character] compliments Beckett on her show of 'sisterhood' the detective is clearly annoyed, and points out that this pretty much all stems from the selfishness of Ian Harris, but that he won't have to take the consequences.

Yes, the woman really had no agency and it was the fact that a man (who was injured during the final scene) is truly to blame for her actions. Show cheaters all the disdain you like, but murder is a tad worse than cheating.

If my memory serves, the whole situation is contrived to essentially act as a soapbox about how men drive otherwise good women to sin. Women can be astray, but men are the genesis of evil.

'Little Girl Lost' is another episode that deserves honourary mention: the premise, if I remember correctly, is that a high-flying career woman stages the kidnapping of her own daughter because she fears that her 'useless layabout' of a husband would win custody in a divorce because he's ostensibly the primary caregiver. God knows she couldn't have been a male character, because the writers couldn't have conceived making a man sympathetic in such a situation.

Scrubs: I loved the comedy, but it came at the price of at least a quarter of the main character's plot lines involving him deal with romantic/sexual rejection or manipulatuon (quite gracefully I would add), but it's always framed either in a very sex-negative context, or as if this young, attractive, well-intentioned doctor deserved rejection just for being attracted to any particular woman.
