Women blame men for their immaturity, inability to commit, and supposed interest in only having sex and bailing.

She only thinks that because she's spending way too much time on Tinder. If she pulled herself away from the frat dudes, she would see hordes of men who are looking for romantic walks on the beach.

Men accuse women of only being interested in money, having unrealistic expectations, and always having one foot out the door, ready to trade their relationship for a better one the moment the first difficulties arise.

They may not be right about everything they say, especially the reasons for it, but there is also a reason why those groups attract so many followers: no one is doing anything to persuade those men otherwise. Instead of admitting that hypergamy exists but then arguing against biological essentialism, they would rather pretend it doesn't exist at all.

These “truth-bombs” are sexism and misogyny packaged to sound like deeply thought revelations that keep viewers glued to the screen and cash pouring into the pockets of the content creators.

Does anyone else notice how carefully this is worded? She calls out misogyny specifically when it comes to the red pill stuff, but just a generic "sexism" in the place of "misandry" in reference to the stuff about men all being fuckbois.

Yes, well, that's because everything we do is pathologized as toxic masculinity, except for the actual instances of toxic behavior which are actually enforced by gynocentricism instead.

So the answer to her question is that we need to actually talk frankly about gynocentricism, hypergamy, and biological essentialism. I guess she got halfway there by saying the sexes need to talk to each other instead of generalizing, though.

I couldn't parse through what the author was even trying to say. It was very generic and broad overall. This is also one woman's specific experience on dating so it will be informed by her personal biases and expectations, an equivalent article by a man would probably be just as useless. The people who had a good experience dating aren't airing out their grievances, and they won't be writing an article like this.

I welcome these kind of articles because at least they call for a dialogue, and we have to start somewhere. I will have a dialogue with the author and her readers anytime, and who did right or who did wrong is less important than ways to change it.

But if you'd ask me straight what is going on, I'd say: sorry, I cannot but conclude that women not only are ridiculously selective, but also have a crazy way to handle that, be it differently crazy for different women.

Well, not all women, but the more reasonable ones I know all have a good partner, and that's also quite a big group, but not of any use when you're in the dating market.

The reason why modern dating is trash is because there's more money to be made that way. Singles consume, couples invest. All dating apps are made to keep you from finding the right person, for 99% of men the algorithms are there to fuck you over and force you to spend money. For the other 1% they get so many matches their mind get twisted into thinking finding someone else is easy, thus there is no reason to work on a relationship that shows signs of difficulties, can just boot up Tinder and match someone else. This mental conditioning affects most women who use dating apps too.

The reason dating sucks isn't because men suck now, or that women suck now. It's because capitalism and greed successfully dismantled how we used to date to turn it into a more profitable business.
