Hey, Head mod here. Others are free to answer but since I kinda take the burden of being the sub representative I figured I'd answer this.

Pornography. As long as it's consenting adults it's fine. I've been with people that enjoyed kink play. So I personally find arguments that it's exploitative to be iffy at best. I do recognize that there's unsavory aspects to the industry at times. But as long as work is being done to ensure that it's made in a safe consensual manner. Then it's fine.
Men's studies programs. I've never even heard of any. So I can't say that they're effective. And this is coming from somebody in education to teach.
Anti feminism I am against feminism pretty much wholesale. I do not believe all feminists are bad. But there's a lot of nasty assumptions about men and society baked into cornerstone beliefs like patriarchy theory. And these have led to systemic discrimination against men in areas like domestic violence and rape support services. I can certainly specify where these issues arise from. But In my belief. The moderate self identified feminists are often unaware of just what they're supporting. as stated in the "welcome among us" post in the sidebar

Know that people here take feminism to mean "the collection of actions and beliefs pushed by groups and academics and agencies who call themselves feminists", and not "the equality of men and women" or "women's rights". That's something key to keep in mind when reading here. Like you've been told already, people here are generally egalitarian,but perceive the various things undertaken under the name of feminism to be detrimental to men, and very often women.
I think there's some places where feminist theory does have a point. Gender roles being problematic being one of them. But the insistence in using negative labeling for men's gender roles while using a completely asymmetrical term for women's is a signifier of the problem with the feminist approach. From an overarching sociological perspective. Nobody has it nice. For example. the vast majority of men could not vote for most of history. And in places like the UK. men unilaterally got the right to vote alongside women over the age of 30 just ten years before women unilaterally got to vote. And this was done primarily because men without the right to vote were dying en masse during the war. No group had it particularly nice. And while women did face oppression. The opposite side of that coin was that men did too. Women had to stay home and raise the children. Men had to go work in the mines.
Absolutely. I judge ideas based on their merit as ideas. Not who or where they come from. If Satan himself rose out of a fiery hole in the ground tomorrow proclaiming "EQUAL RIGHTS FOR LGBTQ PEOPLE" He'd have my support.

Pro it. Religious upbringing, so it was my outlet. The criticisms of it are overly broad, and are to some extent applicable to romance novels and erotica, but usually aren't applied to it. Reform out abusive behaviour, and with proper education on boundaries and consent no-one has to feel like they need to re-enact anything from porn in their personal life if they don't want to.
Couldn't tell you. Haven't done one. Am not in the US. Would only take input on that from those that have.
Feminist-neutral. Feminist thought, and intersectional leftist thought overall, tends to give far more detailed critique and analysis on a number of topics compared to populist/RW material. Feminism is pretty useful for expanding the topic base and providing vocabulary, they just have a load of canards for excluding men from the discussion as anything other than oppressors. I'd rather have it and their concepts in the discussion than out, which is more than I can say for some of its challengers.
Patriarchy works as an analogue for 'conventional gender issues'. It also works as feminism's failings towards men are arguably grounded in residual patriarchal attitudes. As in 3, they're not wrong, they just suck at applying their teaching consistently.
Not really at all, except to pull people away from it. Speaking from experience, the right doesn't care about men's issues except as a tool to divide the left and bring disillusioned and vulnerable men into the fold so their energy can be redirected to things that aren't gender issues. This is a pattern that can be observed time and time again, and people need to stop being conned by it or acting like it's not playing with fire.

Not really sure where I fall on the left side of things, but call it centre-left following a stint on the populist/alt-right side of things.

1) I'm pro pornography. To the extent that legal pornography causes any harm is when consumers of it aren't full conscious of how fictional it is. Porn is a bad substitute for comprehensive sex education. But the lack of healthy attitudes about sex isn't the fault of porn.
2) Are there any Mens studies programs around the US? It's my understanding that nearly all gender studies are focused on the women's experience.
3) By your terms, I strongly prefer feminism neutrality. I think Anti-Feminism is a big hindrance to the perceived legitimacy of Male Advocacy. There are of issues I have with many aspects of feminism. But I think trying to "destroy" or "disprove" feminism as a whole is counterproductive to gaining sympathy.
4) Gender Bias, Gender Discrimination, or just "Sexism" which I think includes issues faced by men and boys. Hyper/Hypo Agency is a big gender bias I think deserves to be addressed, as it changes the way we talk about men and women (always focusing on men's actions and women's experience)
5) In general I find it very hard to trust anything from right leaning people. There's just too much obvious bad faith. I think right leaning people are likely to oppose feminism to win political points, rather than to help men improve the lives of men in any way.

Pro-Porn. I think the industry does have a lot of problems and there might need to be regulation around the sale, licensing and distribution of porn (not to mention issues with child-porn showing up on pornhub and other sites--I've never seen any myself but there is evidence that there are some out there)

It really depends. The issue that I might have with Men's Studies programs is that I can see them turning into programs that demonize men and masculinity rather than helping men discover and express their own masculinity and showing them the issues that men face and what to do about it. I've never heard of any, so I can't really common on their efficacy.

I've been kinda all over. At one point in time, I was staunchly feminist then I became more anti-feminist but currently I'm very feminist neutral. I don't like to claim the title of feminism because like Christianity, some of the core values are good and align with my values however the community can be extremely toxic, bitter, and man-hating (this is also the reason why I don't call myself an anti-feminist either). I am definitely not hesitant to call out particular feminists and feminist ideas that are harmful to men

I hesitate to use Gynocentrism and Patriarchy. I use "traditional gender hierarchies" instead because 1) less stigma, 2) doesn't minimize the experience of anyone (however many feminists might feel like being neutral is minimizing women's experiences and I try to stay away from them). I primarily focus on tackling shitty people, and important issues, when they appear instead of launching into a diatribe about society.

As someone who was formerly on the right, I can say, w/o a shadow of a doubt that the men's movement needs to lose the right-leaning men's activists. They're reactionary, traditionalists, and uphold the very system that punishes men and women by enforcing gender roles. They are also increasingly violent, nationalistic and individualistic, concept that hurt the cause for men's issues and they are the reason we are so misrepresented in media. The men's movement should have no place for them.

1) Mostly pro. If there are abuses those need to be addressed. If that results in some types of porn not being made because there are no willing participants, then so be it. But saying "there are abuses so it should all be banned" i think is too broad.

And for those that believe that doing porn is abusive in itself, well, i don't think all porn actors and porn actresses agree. (I think the talk is mostly about abuse of the actresses but wanted to say both.)

Like with prostitution i believe in regulation and a social safety net. And the social safety net should ignore ones prospects of both. Porn and prostitution shouldn't be fields one is forced to fail out of to be able to receive social help. (Assuming the help requires unemployment and isn't like UBI, in which case it doesn't matter whether you work at all.)

Equal starting points vs equal outcomes. For me it should be equal starting points. But some questions follow. How much help do women need to actually get to equal starting points?

it seems to me that a lot of Feminist argument is that we need equal outcomes until society is used to that and has the same expectations of both genders/sexes. Which is a fine goal.

But to what degree have we already arrived there? Isn't it possible we already expect the same of men and women? Just that people from before that haven't been removed from the board? How much are we okay with men paying during the transition? Men who haven't benefitted from being in those earlier times? And what expectations are we building up during the period when women receive help? Is there a day planned when all extra help to women will be cut off? Or rebalanced so men receive as much? (Possibly education etc being fully free for everyone?)

And to what degree might we have already passed it? More women are finishing college than men. Doesn't that mean it is being unbalanced in the other direction?

4) I don't think i subscribe to any named view. But yeah, a lot of it is probably sexism against men. Some try to point it out by switching out men/males to for example Jews. But that doesn't seem to be really working.

Gynocentrism could also be a good term for when things are talked about only from how affected women are. But i'm not sure i believe everything stems from that.

5) I'm willing to collaborate and amplify their voices to the degree where it is "x-axis neutral". Where they aren't saying that the solution is "vote republican". Or other ways of saying that Leftism is the problem. (As opposed to the left having a problem, which i can agree with.)

I'm here because i believe that society should take care of people, not just be a system of rules for people to interact.

Do some people abuse that? Sure. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I have liberal views around pornography; as long as the actors aren't forced into it, I don't see a problem. This means I don't have any issue with OnlyFans either (mentioned here because I know right-wing MRAs tend do criticize it).
Men's studies programs: not heard of them, so probably not that effective. But I'm not american.
I'm both for women's right and men's right. I could have called myself a feminist, but most of visible feminism is radical-feminism which promotes a lot of sexist stereotypes and has a regressive ideology. I don't like the "traditional masculine stereotypes", which don't fit me, and honestly don't fit most guys, but feminism is more prone to enforcing them than fighting them.
The radical-feminist concept of "patriarchy" which is abused as a tool to "explain" everything is one of the main issues of feminism, therefore I don't want to have such an underlying theory which then has to be used for everything, whether it fits as an explanation of not.
"Gynocentrism" though has an advantage over "patriarchy" as it explicitly doesn't try to imply a single gender is at fault. Men were the primary funders of women's shelter, and these men didn't want to fund men's shelter. Hence this "gynocentric" behavior isn't "women's fault".
I wrote above that I'm an ecologist. This issue has been somewhat associated with the left, but there is no good reason for it and some conservatives have picked it up.
In any case, be it men's issue or ecologism, if someone has a good proposal to tackle an issue, I'll support them doing so.
If they mix their good proposal with something I oppose, I won't support them. I prefer to focus on issues than on tribal parties, because the end-goal should be to get improvements.

Leftist type: ecologist and degrowth proponent. I'm for free education, free healthcare (including abortions), safety net, workers protection (against at-will employment). I would nationalize banks, critical infrastructure & services. Not quite sure what to do with capitalism, but I am open to ideas of getting rid of it completely.

I don't want any gender studies programs really, I just want it to get equal then stop. Gender study programs should be specific science courses
Not feminist, anti-feminist depending on how you define the whole anti ___ thing, looking at some of the early history it is really not all sunshine and rainbows. The early writers were pretty good (Jewett is a personal favorite) but once it got to activism the Feminism vs WRA (as I call it) divide emerged. the WRA's viewed things from a more egalitarian view (you can see this in their writings) and made a point that they fought against gender roles, not men. The feminists were basically violent extremists who believed all the crazy things that have been mainstreamed in feminism today. Though naturally, there was much mixing of terms (if you want a good example of the descendants of the WRM, see people who call themselves equality feminists or women rights advocates), I like to keep the Originals for sanity's sake. Sanity is a good thing these days. I consider myself an MRA *and* a WRA as well as an egalitarian.

Yes, I am firmly a coalitionist. If you agree with me on something, we work on it together. We can do our own things after that. Perhaps we can even build briges and have a more constructive discussion from our working together as well. I have turned some right-wing MRA's to leftism just by chatting with them (some don't ID with the label still)
My ideology is probably best thought of as Liberal (or libertarian) leftism. I am pretty big on decentralism, and I like universal programs with little bureaucracy. Federalism is my ideal form of govt. and though I would like to see some globalism in the sense that we unite more as a species, I don't think that is possible with the CCP being terrible, and the weakness and corruption in the UN, EU, and NATO. I am also a transhumanist if you really want to get into the futurist side of me lol. Oh and I am also a big pluralism fan (more parties, RCV, STV, presidential systems etc)

I don't believe in policing other people's bodies, so I'm okay with porn, as hardcore as it can be (excluding nonconsensual of course). I do have a probleme with production companies though. Porn should only profit those actually making it, not investors. Therefore I only support amateur porn.
I don't know about that, I'm not american.
I'm not overly focused on feminism. I used to call myself a feminist, but after having been insulted quite a lot online, I decided not to identify to a movement not able to be respectful to me. I have stopped believing feminism is at its core about equality. Overall I'm fairly favorable to feminism as a whole, but I have a problem with the fact that feminists do not police each other, and will stand with each other by default rather than call out the terfs and men are trash crowd. So in a word: disappointed.
I'm an anarcho communist. I believe opression is a result of the capitalist class system. Gender as a power dynamics in the west is a smoke screen. The elites want nothing more then for us to oppose each other rather than oppose them. I don't believe in the "patriarchy". A rich woman is more powerful than a poor man. Advances on gender, like gay rights or women-favorable policies, although positive, are cheap ways for power to pretend to be progressive while imposing austerity.

As for gender roles in culture, it is not a monolithic bloc. The idea than men are favoured does not align with my experience, especially working in the social sector, where the workforce and management is mostly women but the worst off beneficiaries (homeless, ex cons, disenfranchised fathers) are mostly men. I do understand that my experience is not universal, and that other segments of society might have different balances, but I do believe the one I work in is the most important, because caring for the weak and needy is the most important. I don't care that bankers and traders are mostly men. They shouldn't exist. I don't want more women assholes, I want less assholes.

Mostly I see that putting down men is socially acceptable, and has been for a long time. The school system is horrible for boys, and we do need a gender balance among teachers.

I don't have a word for þhat like "patriarchy" or "gynocentrism" because to me theybseem like reductive cliches.

Like I said, I'm an anarcho communist, also known as the green left. I associate with progressive feminists, never with the right, or even the center. The real ennemy is capitalism and its tools: nationalism, religion, consumerism and mass entertainment . I am however fed up of pseudo equalitarian feminists who obsess over dumb shit like "manspreading" or women's quota (which in practice reinforce the power of the powerful, and exclude actual minorities) who are everywhere in the green left. I wish they would go and live in the christian center or the with the liberals or wherever else and let us concentrate on things that matter, like gender abolition.

I dislike the really crude commercial porn that might normally come to mind when you hear that word. I've never been interested in that kind though. Amateur porn - normal people basically having sex on camera - is what I'd consider "porn".

I'm kinda anti-feminist, but it depends what you mean by "feminist". I'm pro women's rights and equality, but feminism doesn't really strike me as simply advocating for equality.

It seems to have so many weird theories and terminology, that are all taken as dogma. Based on that alone, I find it kinda cringey.

A ton of people seem to have "feminism" as a core part of their identity, like a new-age religion, which makes it problematic. If gender equality was achieved, I doubt these people would just drop their identity. I think we're quite close to gender equality in the West, so feminists focus on more and more trivial things (tampon tax) or start expressing unrealistic goals based on eliminating anything bad for women (completely ending violence against women, closing women's prisons etc.)

There is also a nasty undercurrent of misandry. At best, they view men as being privileged by the patriarchy with women being oppressed, which leads to an inability to consider discrimination against men as serious. At worst, they view men as being inherently problematic in some way.

I think there's still some sexism against women in society. We should find the causes of gender imbalances in leadership positions and correct them, if they're due to discrimination or inequality.

There is a lot of advocacy for women based on feminism but male advocacy is often frowned upon or despised, unless it's something obvious like prostate cancer or mental health.

It's very worrying that usage of gendered insults towards men are now mainstream and acceptable (mansplaining, manspreading, manterruption). There's often a negative attitude expressed in media regarding men, where it's implied we're problematic as a "species".

I'm only really here because of this rise in anti-male sentiment and feminism's endless promotion of women, despite how fair it is or impacts men. I view the whole men's rights thing as a necessary push back to it.

Social democracy probably, but I've found myself favouring the Conservatives in the UK over Labour recently. I was briefly a member of the Lib Dems in the 2010s and the Lib Dem-Conservative coalition was pretty decent.

The current Conservative leadership is pretty meh, but the left (Labour) was a complete shit show, whose main pitch was, "The Tories are evil; we'll spend more." I also think Jeremy Corbyn was far worse than Boris Johnson and cringe to think how a Corbyn led government would've been.

The Lib Dems seem to have gone from centrist, liberal pragmatists to an anti-Tory protest group.

1) So long as it involves consenting adults, it's A-ok. However, there are some things that happen in some hardcore porn that are difficult or impossible to replicate in real life, and they are hard to actually get pleasure out of. Folks who watch that kind of stuff need to use common sense when "doing the thing" (as Varrick from Legend of Korra would put it) in real life.

2) in my eighteen years of existence in America, I have not once seen a single men's studies program, nor have I ever heard of a college or any other educational facility having one.

3) About feminism today- as I see it, there are two different "types" of feminism nowadays. We have more moderate, egalitarian feminism, and we have extreme feminism. I am tolerant of egalitarian feminists who want nothing more other than to help women out and advocate for them in fields where they struggle (ex: female-specific societal norms). however, radical feminists are a big problem in my eyes. These are the kind of people who spread sentiment like "Kill all men" and are generally misandrists who play it off as seeking equality for women. They, unlike their egalitarian counterparts, are destructive and sexist.

4) From what I have seen so far, each sex has its own unique challenges, and both need to be addressed equally. I don't think there is a patriarchy, nor are we as a society gynocentric. Both genders have their own unique struggles, as I said earlier.

5) I find it important to collaborate with right wingers. Obviously we will have some differences in our views given that they are right wingers and I am a centrist with left lean, but it is important to not let political differences divide us. The saying goes: "United we stand, divided we fall" for a reason.

i dislike anti feminism because if it was a boat then it would be sinking because of how many holes it has

I admit, I don't really identify as a leftist. However a lot of the posts on this subreddit are attractive to me. Generally I'm centre to centre-right fiscally (I am not anti-capitalist) and farish left socially.

Dunno what else I'm supposed to wank to. My preferences can be niche and edge into "hardcore" territory. I don't think there's an issue with that as long as all involved are consensual and have not been trafficked or misled. A lot of opposition to porn comes down to people being prudes, to not put too fine a point on it. (and yes, I have seen radfems say some pretty prude-ish things)
Don't know enough about them to comment. Strikes me as too specific. It'd make more sense academically to start by studying sociology (or gender studies, as is a thing in the US) and then specialise in men's studies later on. Men's studies is as valid as any subfield of sociology/psychology/etc.
I "should" be a feminist in the sense that strictly applying the definition, feminism should be synonymous with equality of the sexes. So in theory I am a feminist as everyone here is. In practice I don't identify with feminism because I don't want to be associated with radfems, and I disagree with common narratives within feminism.
Inconsistent. A lot of people do not have a concrete set of values. You see plenty of inconsistency in society's discussion of race and sex especially. (not even getting into the "cultural relativism" rabbithole) I'm not even talking about values being highly situational, I'm talking about straight up double standards. (you can say/do x to y but not z unless you fall into group w) The defences given are usually complete non-responses and end up with them shutting down the discussion calling you ignorant.

I see no problem with pornography, as long as it only concerns consenting adults, and does not promote illegal or hurtful acts. Until I see compelling evidence that pornography has damaging psychological or social consequences, I adopt a "live and let live" position.

I feel the term "feminism" is applied so broadly these days that it has become nearly vacuous, since it covers extremely diverse and often contradictory worldviews. As such, I am definitely not "anti-feminist", and unlike many other people on this sub, I avoid entirely talking about "feminism" as a concept. In fact, I mostly agree with people who identitfy as feminists when they discuss women's issues. The only problem I have with self-identified feminists is that they are often unaware of the severity of the social problems that men are facing (then again, so are many non-feminists). I see myself as struggling against ignorance, not against feminism.

I avoid ideological labels and I am not impressed by grand all-encompassing social theories. I stricly focus on individual social issues. I feel that those who subscribe to a "big theory" usually end up cherry-picking facts to fit their pet theory, resulting in tunnel vision and confirmation bias.

1) Consenting adults should do what they want. There are problems in the industry that should be addressed, but that is not a problem with porn per se.

2) I am not aware of any Mens Studies program that is independent from feminism. They are very much needed.

3) As per the sidebar: "We have no objection to the genuinely egalitarian aspects of feminism, but we will criticize feminist ideology wherever it is inegalitarian and/or untruthful, especially now that it holds institutional power." But I see most feminists in positions of power being anti-egalitarian, so I lean more to the anti-feminist side. I am happy to work with egalitarian feminists tho, and often refer to such people as CHS, Cathy Young, and Steven Pinker.

4) The reality is more complicated than the simplistic analysis we often get from feminism. There is no patriarchy in the sense of a system upheld by men to benefit men in general. The data do not support this. I do think gynocentrism is an important part of gender dynamics in society, but I think we need more study and discourse to come to a better overarching theory. I don't have one yet.

5) I do not identify as a leftist in the sense of far left, socialism, communism. I am left-wing and willing to work together with MRAs on the right. We're less likely to get results if we isolate ourselves from the ideologically impure.

I am an egalitarian, a progressive, a social liberal, in the original meanings of those words (not those warped by wokeism). Here are my 8values results, and I'm smack-bang in the middle of the LibLeft quadrant on the political compass. I also align with Andrew Yang's ideas on human capitalism and UBI.

I'm open to pornography but I'm aware of some issues and I don't like the fact that youth is exposed to the most extreme kinds of it

In my country feminists mainly focus on the abortion laws and I value them for that. I'm not happy that they thrown in all kinds of crazy ideas and never focus on things that affect men such as uneven retirment age (65 for men, 60 for women) but for now we are allies and I often tak part in their protests and I'm friends with some high ranking feminists
The classical leftist view of working class against the rich. I am considered well earning even in most rich western countries never mind my own but I still try to stick to my roots as I still work with my own hands. I am against the gender roles and all for neautrality but I don't think feminism is against them.
Right wingers sometimes have a point, sometimes they are just bitter. I try to put them down when they do cross a line and I tend not to link to them but sometimes they are useful.

As for the ideology: use to be anarcho-syndicalist, now I'm a socdem. But I'm against the current right-wing socdem gov we have here.

I don't live in the US and don't know enough about it, so I cannot answer this question.

Anti-feminism vs feminism neutrality.

I am pro-women, but I think that most feminists follow a problematic ideology that stereotypes men as oppressive and women as victims, which in the end harms everybody. That said, if there is a feminist campaign that I actually think helps women, I will support it.

How would you describe society’s attitude towards gender issues.

I mainly wish we could stop blaming each other and figure out how to improve the situation for everyone.

To what extent are you willing to collaborate and amplify the voices of right leaning men’s activists?

My values are pretty incompatible with those from the right and I think that their ideas would not really help men. Sometimes they do a good job at criticizing internal flaws within feminism, but that's about it.
