It has been 2 years for me and still don't want to know other woman. I found mgtow community and i really don't know where i stand now or if i even i'll get well or unbroken. i started to questioning my beliefs and some of the ideas agree with mgtow philosophy. There's a typo there, there should be quotation marks around the word "love". You need to have loyalty to call it love; something that can be gotten over that easily bears no loyalty, only necessity. Women don't love, not like men do; they have infatuations, and those infatuations are only as attaching as the woman thinks is useful to her.

Had a woman for over 6 years, she never stopped talking about getting married. From what I was able to piece together later, just about the time she found a guy who was a better trade-up, that talk stopped... and the issues with ME started. I was very lucky to have avoided any serious rape charges after we broke up, and its not like intimations weren't made on her part. That was years ago, and I'm still not really over it.

The worst part is, I ran into her a few years back when I was in a MUCH better state of affairs than when we broke up. I shit you not, within the span of an hour of talking, she was perfectly fine with cheating on me against the guy she left ME for, who was now her husband. I was just thirsty enough by that point to almost take her up on that offer, but then all of my thoughts and feelings since the breakup flooded back, and all the puzzle pieces fit together and I KNEW. She'd never loved me, not really; I was just the only guy at the time willing to spend any time with her; once she could trade up, she did, and once she could trade back to something better, she would.

If I wasn't MGTOW by then, I was after. I'm not totally ruined on women, but it would take something special to make me interested in going back into the game again. I'm not an emotional man, but I put too much of myself into that relationship and got so much hurt out of it to go through that again.

It's evolution, it hasn't kept up with society.. There was no negative reward signal to learn for joining an invading tribe. Females jumped to the most powerful man that wanted them, a simple heuristic.

My observation's been that most of the time a LTR ends, it's because the woman found an "upgrade" so they've already got somebody lined up when they leave.

The real bullshit is that they'll do this exactly as we've described it then vehemently deny it to the ends of the Earth and play the victim. You know, despite having just completely thrown you under the bus for their own gain.

In their minds, cheating or branch swinging either isn't wrong at all (only when they do it though) or if it is than they're definitely not guilty of it like "other girls" because what they did is "different".

My ex laid the whole thing out for me.

This guy apparently won her over by telling her how heartbroken he was to have aborted his kid with another woman. Apparently, he sold it well.

One day she ups and swaps like it ain't no thang. Tells me, "It has nothing to do with Max". She's with him the next week -- reality is she was with him for a long time before she left.

4 years down the drain like it was nothing. Thought she was my best friend.
