It's more complicated than that. Germany used a ton of slave labor for sure and killed off those couldn't work at all of their facilities. The post war narrative part is different. Demonizing Nazi Germany at all levels, writing history how they needed it, etc. This wasn't a Jewish conspiracy. This was worse.
They had to clean out the entire occult aspect of Germany and their research into space exploration. That's why their scientists completely took over the American Aerospace industry. Germany as country had the best economy in Europe by the 60s. Virtually none of the same post-WW1 woes even if the Second WW was worse.

If Auschwitz was a "Death Camp", why was there a swimming pool?
Or an on-call dentist for the occupants of the camp?

Or why was there medical attention available to the occupants?
To be a death/labor camp, Auschwitz had a LOT of shit that you don't see in actual death camps, such as Vorkuta Corrective Labor Facility (USSR), Yodok Concentration Camp (DPRK), or the Xinjiang Re-Education Camps (PRC).

I got a chance to visit Dachau when I studied law in Austria and saw something similar. It was a group of young american teens and they were posing next to the information desk with smiles and hand gestures.
Being an american myself I approached them and asked if they knew where they were. They said they were here on a family trip and promised their parents they would visit but clearly had no idea of the significance. I politely explained where they were and why there are so many people walking around quietly and solemnly. To their credit they shaped up but it was embarrassing as shit.
