The world is coming to that. It is inevitable. Robots will do everything and people will not be needed. So the only way to make people survive would be to give an allowance basically. Because the theory is that employment could go to 30% of what it is and even greater over time because of robots. So people still need to get paid even though they don't work. But basically browsing the internet all day. Thinking of inconsistency in the system and improving it through small businesses. People will just be browsing for small market disparities to make a profit somewhere. So the $1000 will make sure they arent going to starve to death during their new employment role which is entrepreneur.

1 person = 1000$, which is not enough for rent, food, utilities; so he still have to work.

BUT what if you have 5 people in the house = 5000$ per month, rent is still the same, cooking for 5 doesn't cost 5x as much as cooking for 1, same as utilities. Suddenly it become more feasible, at the very most, only 2 of them has to work.

What if you have 10 people in the house = 10000$ per month. Now, all ten of them can sit on their asses and do nothing. You don't think people are going to take advantage of this?? especially the illegal??

Have you guys even listened to this guy's platform? I've heard him on a couple podcasts and actually like him as a candidate. And besides that quote is wrong. The plan would be to give every American over the age of 18 $1000.00 every month, not just women.

This would actually solve a lot of problems, like impending and growing job loss due to automation and AI, the opioid epidemic (fueled in part by hopelessness and poverty), it would stimulate the economy by raising literally everyone out of abject poverty and give them extra disposable income to spend etc. I can't remember all the details, but I've heard like 6 hours of candid responses to serious questions from the guy, and I remember liking most of it and it making a lot of sense.

Women are given EVERY advantage in school, from grade school on up. Then they are given preferential college treatment, academically, athletically, and in every other way imaginable. There are diversity quotas at companies so more women get jobs (who aren't as qualified as men, even though they were given every advantage on the way up).

Actually not a terrible idea. This way women and poor people get $1000 a month and have no reason to complain or ask for more because they pay the least in taxes. At least everyone who's taxes will go up will at least be getting something back.
