What’s scary is how insignificant the reason might be that someone will falsely accuse. For example, in Leeds there was a student who wrongfully accused her taxi driver of molestation because he refused to accept a £10 note soaked in kebab juice. I don’t know Reddit’s rules on posting names but it’s a story discoverable on Google.

I think it's worth keeping in mind that there is a psychological condition known as "borderline personality disorder." BPD primarily affects women.. One of the signature symptoms of BPD is constant lying, manipulation; lack of empathy; etc. These girls get very good at playing the role of the sweet innocent victim and they have no emotional maturity to speak of.
Making up a rape accusation over a dispute like this is just the sort of thing someone with BPD would do.
It's also worth noting that BPD is not a rare condition -- it affects about 10% of women. Not only that, but BPD is one of those conditions which exists on a continuum. The 10% of women who are diagnosible are the most extreme cases. Because BPD is basically just emotional immaturity and it affects virtually all women to a greater or lesser extent.
The issue of BPD doesn't get discussed much, presumably because it puts women in such a negative light. But I think it's worth it for guys to learn the signs and demeanor of women with BPD. (Unfortunately, if you are a taxi driver, there's no practical way to avoid these types of women.

As someone who works in mental health (nursing side of things) this is spot on 100% accurate. Women suffering from BPD are some of the most vile, manipulative and horrible women alive. I've never seen such little empathy from a human being ever......these women can throw their partners out like it's nothing and have a new guy within a matter of days....truly horrible stuff.

Let's also keep in mind that what we today see as a "disorder" is most likely just a naturally evolved behavior.
I mean outside of our current society with it's laws and expectations, the ability for a woman to quickly cut all emotional ties with a man(for whatever reason) and be able to jump ship to another protector provider is a huge advantage over women who can't bring themselves to do that.
Chances are this isn't really a flaw, it's a design feature.

Yeah, I have a cousin with BPD and she is just a horrible horrible person. In fact, like a lot of people, the way I learned about BPD was through a Google search for "manipulative women" -- I was trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with her.
Feminists like to claim that a woman wouldn't make a rape accusation unless she had actually been raped, but anyone who has had the misfortune of dealing with a pwBPD knows that's not so: A woman with BPD will tell any lie about anything if she thinks it will benefit her in some way. As a result, women with BPD get very practiced at lying.
And we're talking about roughly 1 in 10 women here.

BPD is developed as a extreme form of ptsd. BPD is not developed until after a very traumatic event like rape.
This is feminist nonsense -- nobody knows what causes BPD. It is known that people with BPD frequently claim to have been the victims of childhood abuse, however only a feminist would accept this sort of claim at face value. People with BPD are incessant liars and their claims about childhood trauma should be treated skeptically.
Also, BPD in men is more often diagnosed as NPD until they are much older.
This is another feminist fantasy -- you can't stand the idea that there are some negative traits which are more common among women than men. But even if it's true, it doesn't really matter because men are not accorded automatic deference and respect due to their gender; men are not automatically believed when they claim to have been victimized by women. That's why women with BPD are so dangerous -- people are credulous of their lies.
Also BPD is very treatable with medication and therapy.
This is also complete nonsense. For starters, most people with BPD refuse to admit anything is wrong with them and refuse to get any kind of treatment. There are a few therapies which have improved some people with BPD, but for the most part it's a permanent condition with little hope.

I think the government should be pushing for this more - we're taught from a young age that lying is wrong and you get punished for it - but women know they get away with lying all the time.
If the government isn't going to be fair, they get what is coming. And that is, men, walking away from participating in society (which we already see is starting to happen - and the numbers are increasing). Without a society, there is no government. Seems like a simple outcome for me.

There is a very distinct difference between accusations being unproven/unprovable in court, and intentionally lying. The latter is what sensible people want punished
And to play devil’s advocate, I will go so far as to say believe women (and anyone that makes an accusation), BUT it will and should only stick if there’s evidence to prove foul play.
If evidence shows and proves intentional lying on the part of the alleged victim, then they go from victim to accused, and they have the same due process with same potential punishment

I would go even further. It's quite common in my country for men to be killed by population for being accused of rape. Although the police states that 80% of rape accusations here are false.

I basically agree, but it's actually somewhat worse than that because women with these conditions are markedly more promiscuous than average women. So if you meet a woman who is willing to jump into bed with you right away, the chances that she is manic or personality disordered is a good deal higher.
As a side note, I would add that even though manic women are a total shit show, they typically don't have the same experience with lying and manipulation as women with BPD. Women with BPD lie and manipulate every day of the week and they tend to get very practiced at lying.
But any way you slice it, there are a lot of batshit crazy women running around. In a society which automatically believes any accusation made by a woman against a man, this is a big problem for us guys.

Considering the fact that i had to walk out of my house in handcuffs, sit in a jail cell, change neighborhoods, spend thousands on therapy and two consecutive lawyers, alternate my entire commute to avoid death threats or being attacked on my way to work, find elaborate activities to get myself to sleep, lose friendships, get laughed at by many females i have helped in the past, watch my "christian" aunt (whose son could never measure up to my success) smile, nodd and wink with the accusser as i was motioned into the police vehicle. wade through a stream of betrayals, listen to my own mother ask for my court dates to put on her lottery ticket and nagg me about what i should eat 'WHEN' i finally go to prison, fight through depression daily, forfeit two scholarships, make courtroom visitations frequently during the investigation stage, hear that my name was maliciously used to elevate the schooling and opportunities of a dumb kid whose only talent in life is to recite lines created by her mother to a bunch of police officers after her scandal and blackmail strategies didnt work out.....i totally agree to the cause. Infact i think prison time should be just the beginning stage of a liars punnishment.

In most situations, being falsely accused of murder, would be so obviously ludicrous it would not effect your life in the same as accusations of rape or sexual harassment would. There is a lot of evidence and information involved with proving a murder case.
Rape and sexual harassment are often "he said , she said" circumstances and men are almost always presumed to be guilty. This is apples and oranges to a false murder accusation.

While I agree with this, I do think there would need to be a trial to prove the accuser lied too. Finding the accused innocent doesn't necessarily mean they didn't do it - just that it wasn't beyond a reasonable doubt (under US law at least)

I mentioned in another thread that this is a balancing act between deterring women from doing this in the first place, versus giving those who have made a false accusation to come clean about what they have done.
If the penalty is too big for this, a woman who has, in a fit of emotion, made a false allegation, will not come clean and the man whose life she is ruining will remain in trouble. What really needs to happen is what used to happen - if a claim like this is made, it is innocent until PROVEN guilty, and there must be more evidence than just a person's word.
To me it is really surprising that women themselves do not speak up more about this issue because of the harm and discredit it does to actual victims.

I agree that the fundamental problem is this idea that we must automatically believe women. If this idea is rejected, then of course it will lead to situations where a lot of men get away with rape because there is no corroborating evidence and it's literally a "he said/she said" situation. But people should be okay with that. In a free society, people get away with crimes all the time because it's more important to make sure that very few innocent people are punished than to make sure that every last guilty person is caught.
Part of it is that it doesn't actually discredit actual victims. Every few years there is a highly publicized rape accusation which later turns out to be false. e.g. Duke Lacrosse. But society doesn't seem to learn anything at all from situations like this. A few years later, when a similar allegation is made (e.g. Rolling Stone) people still automatically believe it.

I disagree, prison should be for violent criminals not liars, if we put every person in prison for making false allegations the prisons would be full plus all the damaging stuff that happens in prison like con education and drug exposure it can send people down a bad path. Fines and community services can be a better way to restore empathy in liars, they see the damage their lies have done and take part in fixing it.

If you think jailable offenses should be limited to violent crimes, you must have a few screws loose. There are different prisons depending on the severity of the crime, white collar criminals are generally in lower security prisons than serial murderers.
That said, someone who is lying in an attempt to put someone in a maximum security prison should be put in the same level prison. As a matter of fact, I’d even go as far as to say that it wouldn’t be the worst idea to put a female offender in quite literally the same exact prison her fake attacker would have gone to (as in, a male prison), so as to give her first hand experience on the dangers of the crimes she’s so readily willing to exploit, but obviously that wouldn’t happen. I’d be more than satisfied with the outcome of the first scenario I presented though (same level prison), considering false accusers generally don’t even get a slap on the wrist when their bullshit gets found out.
