And this is the bottom line. A woman can’t do this to a man. It requires laws the state to do this. Burning through savings that neither will get. Then at the end, even more will be taken from him and he’ll be so bad off that some go homeless or have to beg family for help. That’s not even covering retirement. When you spent your life being responsible to save for retirement and then it’s stripped away… what’s the point?
The state is the core problem with divorce. The state won’t change. That means we have to. Stop getting married and stop entering relationships which have legally binding clauses.

As a child of divorce, this fucking blows. If they have children they should resent their mother - that's their first car, their college fund, their inheritance, but instead their mother chose to give it to greedy parasitic divorce lawyers out of her pure vindictiveness and resentment for their dad.

Their mother will blame the father and manipulate the children into hating him. Then when they get older the father will tell them the truth and the mother will die alone, karma will come back to her

Less and less of gen z and millennials like the idea of marriage.
There was a statistic the other day on purplepilldebate that said 43% of college males in the UK are virgins. The red pill is normalized now, it’s only a matter of time before women are affected by men saying fuck society. These virgins are most likely bitter and fucking pissed. They’re probably red pilled too since I imagine they have enough free time to lurk Reddit
The state will either have to change the laws of society or collapse will happen

Allegory to be noted and lesson to be learned. I read a story a while back about the Salem Witch Trials. It was said that the witches of that particular area were gathered up, and eventually put to death for practicing witchcraft. The truth of the matter though was that the "real" witches were the ones who actually made the trials happen. They were the women sleeping with the men who were in charge of that jurisdiction. It was just a cover. I think the same applies here.
[–]Phantom_Spark 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That’s the concept behind witch trials. You find people you hate… throw false accusations at them and have them jailed or killed.
And of course you find a middle man so none of this points back towards a petty woman. Doesn’t matter how many. But we can’t be so foolish to think no woman would ever do such a thing or that it’s some extremely rare anomaly. Things like that happen all throughout history.

There is a better way I am not advocating this but if he where to play the long game. He could go to his local casino withdraw a few thousand from his debit each time do that for a few months and draw his accounts down reverse mortgage his house and suck all the value out of that then use the casino ATM withdrawal method for that. After your down to barely enough to pay your fat to day bills you go to gamblers anonymous and narcotics anonymous sign the book sit through the groups “share your struggles and how you think it all stems from your marriage dying a slow death and how you feel powerless to keep it from falling apart” and get sponsors and talk with them. After six to ten months file for divorce while being pretty much worthless on paper. In divorce court you could get the bank to produce your bank records showing the withdrawals at the casino ATMs. You could produce pictures of the sign in books at gamblers anonymous and narcotics anonymous going back months. If it came down to it you could have your sponsors talk about what a hard time you where going through and how it stemmed from the powerlessness you felt watching your marriage slowly unravel. You could tell them how you had a problem it started out as a coping mechanisms the gambling then drugs and how you couldn’t bring yourself to stop until you finally hit rock bottom and where having trouble paying your bills. Then you went and got help at GA and NA after a lot of soul searching realized that the marriage is not fixable and you just can’t stay married. It’s a lot of effort but you have documented proof and witnesses to testify about your troubles.

casinos are usually completely monitored by camera. so you could find out whether the money withdrawn was gambled away or not?
[–]Open-road-free-man 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They don’t retain footage indefinitely it’s not practical hence waiting six to ten months by then it’s be recorded over many many times.
[–]teelolws 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Or even better: withdraw a few thousand each time and actually go up to a pokie and play a game or two for a couple dollars, so you at least get witnesses who know you as a regular at the casino. The only downside is risking actually winning and fucking up your plan.

[–]tflst5 26 points27 points28 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Been there, done that. Boy does this bring back some sour memories.
I remember how naïve i was about the process. My ex claimed it would be amicable. We decided to go to mediation to lower the costs. The first deposit was 2500$ and i paid it. I remember thinking - i wonder if the lawyers will really need all of that? That money evaporated in the first month..
At the end, i still got off easy compared to some dudes.
The one thing that bothered me is that i was given the responsibility for paying both of our legal costs - suggested by our mediator. This was total bullshit, but i was strong-armed into it. Apparently if i had not agreed she could have sought some type of alimony for lawyer support which was NOT disqualified due to her infidelity. More horseshit laws if you ask me. So the mediator told me this option was better for me and less complicated. Probably a lie (she was a woman too).
So what happened is that my ex realized she could use the process as a means to extract greater concessions from me. Because every time we went through an amendment to our agreement - i had to pay all the attorneys who revised, reviewed, and consulted with each other. Each revision, no matter how minor, was several hundred dollars - sometimes more. And each time it was done, i would sign and she would then decide she wanted something else - starting the process all over again and pressuring me to agree or else she would persist until i was broke.
[–]BigDavesRant 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Ouch... that sounds fucking infuriating.
[–]tflst5 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Oh the process is so horribly rigged towards the responsible and the earners in the household. The baseline assumption is that the woman is contributing to her maximum potential in regards to the house - even if she does no chores, pays no bills, and even works (but makes less income). My ex didn't do shit around the house, didn't pay any bills, didn't really contribute to her 401k, or any taxes, and did have a full time job. Yet the mediator made me sacrifice my savings, my retirement, pay her most of my home's equity.. and it could have been worse if i didn't possess physical evidence of her affairs. I got off easy actually.
So the system errs always on the side of rewarding the lazy and irresponsible. It should be the other way around IMO.
[–]AriaEarthMars 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm a firm believer in this being not only a factor in male suicide, but in the murder of women. The state pushes men so far, removes their entire lives and everything they have worked for and will work for in the future, it's no wonder some just snap and kill the woman. The state endlessly bitches about family violence, yet fails to recognise that their oppressive, anti male laws make family violence worse, both by giving women almost a free hand do treat people however they want and by forcing men to breaking point. Make the laws fairer and stop both destroying and allowing women to destroy men and your domestic violence problem will solve itself.

This is a perfect example of why women try to drag a marriage out until the guy is in his late forties, early fifties before shutting off the sex. If you're the guy and you decide to leave, you will lose almost everything, plus you don't have enough working years left to rebuilt your nest egg.
I watched a guy screw everything up in his mid thirties when he was drunk and told the wife he was getting out when the kids turned 18. You see he was going to be forty-forty one when that happened.
Two and four years later the wife had two planned oops moments and he was now a dad of four kids and he wasn't going anywhere nor was his paycheck until he was at least fifty six.
[–]NoMarriageNoKids 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's what divorce attorneys do. The first they do they is have you fill out a form listing income, assets, etc. it tells them how much they can get out of the marital estate.
I went through the same thing. And, 12 years later I'm still paying boatloads of child support even thought the $50-60k in attorney fees are over. Now, it's worth noting that my ex is pretty well-off and I was taken to the cleaners. She's already moved in a new betabux provider. So, now her household has 2.5 incomes (hers, his, and half of mine) and I'm struggling on just half of mine.
I just hope my boys have heard and seen enough over the years to not make the same mistake. I've had the mgtow talk with them and they've seen the divorce and family court carnage upfront. I'm pretty sure they won't fall in the same trap. If they did I don't even think I would attend the wedding. I'd have a hard time not speaking up at the "if anyone approves of this union speak now or forever hold your peace" part.
All I can say is to be as a amicable as possible. Sounds like you are already. But, these cunts are educated and encouraged by their attorneys on how to suck you dry of every penny possible.
The good news is that once it's over you'll be able to build back up unless you have a ton of child support. That'll keep you in the poor house until it runs out... meanwhile, she'll be living high on the hog.
Getting married was the single most expensive mistake of my life x 1,000.

Nothing is stopping him from spending that money now. He can go burn most of it and then tell her lawyers they’re running out of money.
Bet you the lawyer will advise her to settle ASAP.

It is not only the divorce but the very act of marriage is a scam and a racket. It is surprising that men blame the symptom but not the cause. Marriage is the problem.

If possible use one lawyer to get divorced. They will be forced to act like a mediator.

Another blue pilled taken to the cleaners xD They never learn

Think about what’s being said here.
2 people no longer want to be in a relationship. But because the man signed on the dotted line, breaking up requires paying the woman like it’s a fucking lawsuit. Absolute insanity.
I’m married. I have known my wife since 3rd grade. We were best friends before dating, and I know for a fact that not only was she a virgin before marriage, but she never even fooled around with another man. If I was in any other situation at all with a woman, absolutely zero chance would I be getting married.

The ideal woman I would want: clean and behaved with great looks. That would be my mythical unicorn, and sadly it will never exist. Instead, many of them are fucking worthless. I don't know your situation, but I will say this:
If you are married, then I hope it works out for you. These times though, many of us will not be getting married. We see too much risk for little value.

A lot of us here know about MGTOW but a lot of people don’t know better it’s important to see these red flags in a woman still sad seeing this happen though. Men are getting financially ruined.

Drop your attorney and defend yourself. You can hire a low cost paralegal to file papers. Courts are surprisingly welcoming to non attorneys in family court. Also your stbx will stop dragging shit out when she realizes it isn’t costing you anything. Women can be real cunts.

eh, you are going to be paying for her lawyers.

I knew a guy who told his ex that if she just signed settlement papers and agreed to reasonable child support, he would give what they would have spent on attorney's fees (roughly $30,000). She refused.....so he quit working, spent his entire savings, sold everything, and went to jail multiple times for not paying support. Funny thing is, he was perfectly happy with going to jail just to spite her. Lost track of him, but I'm hoping he moved and her life crumbled around her.

There is many things you can do. Unfortunately they are all illegal.

Hard for me not to think: If you are stupid enough to get married nowadays, you deserve what comes to you.

Its called divorce rape for a reason.

Stbxw already 100k in the hole. And I’m worth like 200 billion less than Bezos. I don’t even think I’m worth a prime membership. All that money into a 529 for the kids would have went a long way.
[–]thealphateam -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
My ex was the same way. No kids, just a house. I spent more in lawyer fees than we got out of the house. It went as far as seeing a judge because she was being so uncooperative. She had some crazy ass formula where she got like 80% of the assets. The judge said "it should be split 50/50". She tried to explain her formula. Judge "it should be split 50/50". She tried again, he cut her off slamed the gavel and said "50/50" it is. The look on her face was almost worth it. I didn't say a thing besides confirming my identity. The actual trial lasted like 3 minutes.

What we really need is a change in legislation. All these woes against women are not enough until we make it legally impossible for this to get to this point
[–]starkfuture -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And still the idiot doesn’t get it.
Marriage is the racket. Divorce is the bailout for the female.
[–]kleinburg11 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
why do you guys keep paying? take your savings and run

Should have thought about that before you married a hoe
