health, business, and finances.... the exact things I neglect the most. My health, because my medical insurance sucks and co-payments are high and taking time off work for medical and dental work will ensure i get replaced by someone 10 years younger than me and more eager to impress.

business and finances, another big nope. all i can do is skip meals and tighten my belt. my FT job takes up all my time and leaves me sore after work, no real opportunity to increase my income. Although there probably is, but I dont see it.

I do my best to save inspite of making poverty-level wages (no college) , but one car repair, or one medical emergency, and it's all gone.

I wonder how many guys in here are stuck in my situation... hopefully im the only one.

Life can be seen as 4 parts. The 1st part is from birth to 22 years old. That's the part where a man has to learn via schooling. The 2nd part is from 23-44. That's when he has to work hard and try to save as much as possible. Capital buildup is key here. Compounding returns will be important. 45-66 is the part when a man works smart. Take care of yourself physically because this is the age in which a man's body can be vulnerable. Continue to build capital and investments. 67 to end of life is when a man gets reap the fruits of his labor. Relax and enjoy what you have built up in the 1st 3 parts of your life.

I want to add a disclaimer here though. I used the motivation of thinking I needed money to raise a wife and kids to make myself get through the daily grind when things got tough. I think being MGTOW does have different motivations especially if one discovers MGTOW early in life. Do you have the motivation to want to work hard and save? Now that I am MGTOW but with a decent nest egg from my earlier years, I find myself wanting to go the FIRE route. I am leading a minimalistic life with little stress. I like it. Am I glad I focused and saved in my early years? Definitely.

I've been doing this since I was 32 years old. I'm 37 now and almost a millionaire. The problem (or gracious fact) that you will learn in this time period is how much of a drain most people in general are. Women, in particular, usually don't add much but just take. You try and tell them what you're trying to build and it seems to go over their head. It was good for them to walk on me as I'm in getting in better shape physically, mentally and emotionally like never before. And if you're like me, it will be hard to even talk to women again seriously.
