Yes, it intuitively seems like it should be that way, but what if he bet and lost all that money, is that your bet and loss too? Stealing money is a crime and should be punished by having to pay it back, plus interest, fines, jail time etc. The punishment should not be determined by what you do with that money. Or imagine the scenario where instead this guy stole 10k each from 3 people, but still bet only 10k, then what happens? do you determine it by the physical lineage of what money he used to place the bet? Do you split it by percentage?

Fuck the person, sure, but you only owe what was taken from you.
If he took the 10k and set fire to it, you'd still be entitled to only $10k that was stolen to be paid back, not millions.
Likewise if he took 10k, bet it all and lost, you wouldn't be owed the 10k debt it created.
Or if I stole $10k off you and bought a gold statue worth 10k, you couldn't come after me for the statue, you could only come after me for 10k. If I didn't pay, you might be able to get the baliffs to claim my assets to sell for 10k, but you don't just get automatic rights to the winnings.

Honestly, I’d say she deserves most of the profit since it was her capital invested.
The closest legal equivalent to this is hiring an accountant or stockbroker to invest your money, so he should get some commission but not remotely all of it. Maybe something like the 35% lawyers get in a settlement.
