This kinda shit, is the biggest risk for inexperienced guys.
Because not so good looking and cool guys; that don't get much if any experience in their 20's. Are often prey for women, when he turns 30 (and so is she) and is succesfull(-ish). I don't feel sorry for this guy at all and here's why: Too many (almost all, really) of the places I've worked at have had management who are Suckers Inflating Marginal Pussy and the producers (me among them) have gotten the shaft. These simps surround themselves with brown nosers on the male side. Here's a list:

A pay raise THAT WAS WRITTEN INTO MY CONTRACT was denied because the company wasn't "financially where we wanted to be" - after the owner bought a new Maserati for his wife.

Different company couldn't give me a raise, but the owner could afford to take his secretary on these crazy vacations including hunting trips in various parts of the globe and an ice palace in Greenland or some shit.

A company I worked in was fined 160k because a female manager was given carte blanche to do whatever she seemed fit which mostly seemed to be lying on DOT/ employee hours to bump up her bottom line and get a bonus. The owner let her do literally whatever she saw fit and suffered no consequences for fraud (from the owner, anyway.)

Another small company I worked at was talking about raises and benefits for all employees-until the owner said "he couldn't afford it, the wife wants another kid, and those are expensive" - and talk of benefits or raises was suddenly dropped. Then he wants to know why I decided to walk from the company.

Working in manual labor jobs and the boss puts some mini skirt wearing degenerate in charge of crews. So not only is an idiot running the show, the crews are getting excited over this female and can't focus on their jobs, only jockeying for attention.

Then you've got the loser in this post. Gala events! Excitement! The woman of my dreams because I lose it when I get a whiff of that low tide.
